God Friended Me has a new co-showrunner. Deadline reports Robby Hull has been promoted co-showrunner for the CBS TV show’s season two.
The drama series centers on Miles (Brandon Micheal Hall), a podcaster whose life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from a user named “God.” The cast also includes Violett Beane, Suraj Sharma, Javicia Leslie, and Joe Morton.
Hull, who served as co-executive producer on season one of God Friended Me, will now serve as an executive producer and co-showrunner with creators/executive producers Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt.
The CBS series wrapped its first season on April 14th.

Love this show!!!
Love this show and so happy to see it renewed! It always leaves a smile on my face and love the positive message of helping other people. Also, the characters Miles and Cara are an adorable couple
So glad it will be back.
I absolutely love this Show. It’s feel good when there’s a lot wrong in this world. The characters are believable and the script is interesting as well as intelligent. Everything doesn’t go according to plan always, it takes some ploy twists and turns. Keep this show! It’s a FAVE!
Absolutely LOVE this show! What a cliffhanger!!!

Yes I will watch season 2. Can hardly wait for it to come bacvk.
Please continue the show. It is very good.
Great show
I watched all the episodes and loved the show. So glad it’s being renewed.

Having Hope in people, Having Faith in people, Learning to Forgive people and Most Important Love People. Sounds like the God Account is Right On Track! Excited for… Read more »
