TV show description:
A drama series set in New York City, God Friended Me revolves around a thoughtful and outspoken podcaster named Miles Finer (Hall). Miles is an atheist and that puts him at odds with his father, Reverend Arthur Finer (Morton), a beloved and longtime preacher at Harlem’s Trinity Church.
Miles’ life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from a user named “God”. He ignores and declines the request but it keeps coming back so, out of curiosity, he accepts and the mystery deepens as he digs deeper into his new friend’s account.
He’s led to Cara Bloom (Beane), an online journalist who’s been struggling with writer’s block. Intrigued by Miles’ story, Cara joins him in investigating friend suggestions from “God” and they end up helping others in need — while learning things about themselves.
Miles and Cara are aided by Ali Finer (Leslie), Miles’ supportive sister. She’s a doctoral psych student by day and a bartender by night. Also lending a hand is Rakesh Singh (Sharma), Miles’ best friend and a sometimes hacker who needs some help on the social side of his life.
Miles is convinced that the “God” account is an elaborate hoax and is devoted to uncovering the truth. In the meantime, he’s playing along and, in the process, seeing his life changed forever.
Episode #42 — The Mountain
Miles is forced to examine his lack of faith more than ever before when the God Account sends him his sister, Ali, as a friend suggestion on the eve of her cancer surgery.

This is one of my favorite shows, please do not cancel. I might add that CBS remains to have the best tv viewing in my opinion.
I really like God Friended Me and am very unhappy when, like tonight,
NCIS, FBI and NCIS New Orleans is playing instead of God Friended Me.
Please keep this show going. It’s the only one I watch. No violence, no bad language. It is family, love, and every day problems. It is a pleasure to watch. Please, please, renew.

I forgot to mention that I really loved the story of the Jewish man who is reunited with his long-lost sister who had been interred in a Nazi concentration camp during WW II and who was able to purchase at an auction the treasured family pocket watch that the Jewish man deeply wanted.
This is a quality show. I watch it every week. The last episode I watched was on Sunday, January 5, 2020. I was really interested in finding out about the inventor of the God Account, about the relationship between Miles and Cara, and about Miles’ sister’s cancer diagnosis. The creators of this series are really talented writers. What’s more, they’re respectful of spiritual and compassionate concerns. This show is a breath of fresh air compared to all those that focus on crime, violence, and celebrity.

I look forward to God Friended Me every Sunday. It is one of the television highlights of the week. Looking for a season 3.
I THINK THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SERIES I HAVE EVER WATCHED.
Has me telling everyone to watch. It is upbeat, but not sicky sweet. Deals with “real” people problems and how they need help. It shows us how in real life we could do the same things!
Makes me cry and laugh, but always feel good at the end of the show.
We look forward to this TV show. Please do not cancel. We need shows like this.
