What’s your diagnosis for first season of The Good Doctor TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Good Doctor is cancelled or renewed for a second season. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated that their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all the season one episodes of The Good Doctor for us here.
An ABC medical drama, The Good Doctor stars Freddie Highmore, Antonia Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chuku Modu, Beau Garrett, Hill Harper, Tamlyn Tomita, and Richard Schiff. The show centers on Dr. Shaun Murphy (Highmore), a new surgical resident with autism and savant syndrome. His incredible memory and keen ability to perceive spatial relations inform Shaun’s gifted comprehension of his patients. Meanwhile, his autism can hinder his ability to communicate with others. With only the help of his advocate, Dr. Aaron Glassman (Schiff), Shaun must challenge the skepticism and prejudices of the hospital’s board and medical staff, in order to do his job and save lives.

The good doctor is my favourite show on tv now. I am disappointed it is over for now. I hope it will be renewed. Dr. Shawn Murphy is very captivating. I find his ability impressive.
Great show . One of the few that I watch and agree very captivating. And as far as the story goes I just think that the people around him would have been more in tune with Shaun’s communication limitations. I did not like that he was being forced to accept a “Life Coach” and agreed with his freak out. But all in all I really like the show just hanging in there for the next episode:-)

This is the one show that my fiancée and I sit together and enjoy! I love this show… I love Dr movie and loved him in bates motel.. he’s a damn good actor.. please have a 2nd season and more and more.. thanks!

This show is so incredibly well done on so many levels. It was pointed out earlier in these messages that the lead character does not represent most individuals with autism at all (because they are typically nonverbal, developmentally delayed, flailing, self-stimming, etc), but rather the minority of individuals on the autism spectrum (usually referred to as Asperger’s Syndrome) who tend to be high functioning, often with savant skills, but socially awkward. Love this show. Freddie Highmore plays a fantastic roll having autism. Good Doctor should be renewed. This show is so interesting and exciting to watch. Please renew The Good Doctor! Thank you!
I love this show. I hope it isn’t cancelled and there are many more seasons to come. I don’t watch a lot of TV shows. But I don’t miss this one. Please let there be a season 2
