What’s This TV Show About?
An OWN megachurch drama, Greenleaf season four stars Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, Lamman Rucker, Kim Hawthorne, Lovie Simone, Merle Dandridge, Desiree Ross, Deborah Joy Winans, Tye White, Rick Fox, Beau Bridges, and Oprah Winfrey. The story centers on the Greenleaf family and their Memphis congregation. In the fourth installment, the Greenleafs try to remain a united front against the threat of losing Calvary to Bob Whitmore (Bridges) and Harmony & Hope Ministries. They’re keeping secrets though, and those secrets threaten their bond.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of Greenleaf on OWN averaged a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.07 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 19% and 18%, respectively. Learn how Greenleaf stacks up against the other OWN TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will OWN cancel or renew Greenleaf for season five? Though the series’ ratings have dropped, Greenleaf is still one of OWN’s most popular shows so I don’t think it’s ending, at least right now. I love this series!
Love the show ! Lynn Whitfield and Mearle Dandridge are awesome, but it’s been almost a year between seasons. I’ll continue to watch because of the talent and storylines, this show started out with almost four million viewers and now it’s down to one million!
I love this show. I had not watched until a week ago and tgen started from season onr and couldn’t stop. Binged watch gor thtee days yi gey caught up. Can’t wait for Tuesday
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep Greenleaf on the air. I’ve been waiting and watching and waiting and watching for the show’s return.
Well OWN has only itself to blame for lower ratings. They lost some viewers with such a long break. I love the show, but when you are gone for so long, people move on. They kept delaying the return of the show so this is what you get.
Greenleaf should have a season 5 because it touch basis on real life issues & had you on the edge of your seat. The actors are very professional & on point.
I enjoyed Greenleaf.

I think Greenleaf is a Powerhouse, it has has something for everybody, it’s The ” Empire” of The OWN Network!! May it be renewed.
It is a shame that the African American TV night time line up have dwindled. I miss Star, The have and the have nots, Empire, If loving you is wrong. These shows were quite entertaining to me. I also miss the reality TV shows like the one on Chef Lawrence at The Pink Tea Cup restaurants. I’m praying that some of these shows get started up again.

I personally love the show and the cast. I have watched every episode. It has a great story line and is anxiously waiting for more drama. I hope it would not be cancelled
Greenleaf is the only thing I watch on OWN. I’m sure the ratings would be better if it wouldn’t take 6 months to a year for a new season.
I personally will stop watching OWN if Greenleaf is cancelled. I know others who feel the same way!!!
Greenleaf is one of the best shows that I’ve seen in a long time cant wait for the dvds when their released, please don’t cancel it the cast and story line is outstanding I look forward to more seasons to come i got my whole family onto the show.
I feel Greenleaf is one of the better written shows on Own. The own channel has finally started to show quality tv programs.
