What’s This TV Show About?
An OWN megachurch drama, Greenleaf season four stars Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, Lamman Rucker, Kim Hawthorne, Lovie Simone, Merle Dandridge, Desiree Ross, Deborah Joy Winans, Tye White, Rick Fox, Beau Bridges, and Oprah Winfrey. The story centers on the Greenleaf family and their Memphis congregation. In the fourth installment, the Greenleafs try to remain a united front against the threat of losing Calvary to Bob Whitmore (Bridges) and Harmony & Hope Ministries. They’re keeping secrets though, and those secrets threaten their bond.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of Greenleaf on OWN averaged a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.07 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 19% and 18%, respectively. Learn how Greenleaf stacks up against the other OWN TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will OWN cancel or renew Greenleaf for season five? Though the series’ ratings have dropped, Greenleaf is still one of OWN’s most popular shows so I don’t think it’s ending, at least right now. I would love a season 5 of greenleaf
This has been such an engaging series to watch! Season one had me hooked from the beginning as I was pulled into the engrossing character storylines and dramatic political workings of a Megachurch. The personal and spiritual growth of each character as they rise above past traumas, failings and disappointments is encouraging for viewers and keeps them entranced with the hope that springs eternal despite the direst of situations. Surely, Season 5 will arrive in 2020 to help tie up the loose ends in the Season 4 cliffhanger. Your viewers deserve to see more of this compelling dramatic mystery series.… Read more »
I absolutely love Greenleaf I really and truly would hate if they cancelled Greenleaf because it’s the only show that I keep up with and I absolutely love lady May charity and the rest of the cast thank you so much OWN for keeping Green leaf alive

This is the first African American based show I have watched and am very engrossed in it. I am tired of how many tv shows and movies portray the Black community in roles of mean, aggressive people. I have enjoyed this show very much.

I just finished watching seasons 1-4 on Netflix. Never heard of the show, just happened to start watching and couldn’t stop ’til I watched every episode! I need to know how everything will turn out for the Greenleaf family. Please renew!!
