What’s This TV Show About?
An OWN megachurch drama, Greenleaf season four stars Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, Lamman Rucker, Kim Hawthorne, Lovie Simone, Merle Dandridge, Desiree Ross, Deborah Joy Winans, Tye White, Rick Fox, Beau Bridges, and Oprah Winfrey. The story centers on the Greenleaf family and their Memphis congregation. In the fourth installment, the Greenleafs try to remain a united front against the threat of losing Calvary to Bob Whitmore (Bridges) and Harmony & Hope Ministries. They’re keeping secrets though, and those secrets threaten their bond.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of Greenleaf on OWN averaged a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.07 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 19% and 18%, respectively. Learn how Greenleaf stacks up against the other OWN TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will OWN cancel or renew Greenleaf for season five? Though the series’ ratings have dropped, Greenleaf is still one of OWN’s most popular shows so I don’t think it’s ending, at least right now. I pray that it gets renewed. I know rating matter however when do they think about the people that depend on these shows as the relate to some real life. It seems like every time a shows shows the good bad and ugly that we as brown people can relate too. It’s the first to be cancelled just like Underground!

Should be renewed
I’m dying waiting for it to return for a 5th season. I truly enjoy the characters and the story line and enjoy the juicy scandals. I would hate to loose another good show with such a talented cast.
They ALWAYS cancel a good show. Greenleaf was awesome but like so many others that have been cancelled, probably will just leave us hanging. I really loved that show!!

I would love to see a fifth season of Greenleaf , the series is one I hate that ended, and the ending left me with so many questions. I hope to see another season of this wonderful series.

I was told about Greenleaf by a colleague 1 week ago The story is so compelling that I could not stop . I have seen all the episodes and can’t wait for season 5. Too many stories need to be concluded to bring the proper closure What will happen to Grace with regards to her relationship to her daughter and Her son AJ?
