What’s This TV Show About?
An OWN megachurch drama, Greenleaf season four stars Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, Lamman Rucker, Kim Hawthorne, Lovie Simone, Merle Dandridge, Desiree Ross, Deborah Joy Winans, Tye White, Rick Fox, Beau Bridges, and Oprah Winfrey. The story centers on the Greenleaf family and their Memphis congregation. In the fourth installment, the Greenleafs try to remain a united front against the threat of losing Calvary to Bob Whitmore (Bridges) and Harmony & Hope Ministries. They’re keeping secrets though, and those secrets threaten their bond.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of Greenleaf on OWN averaged a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.07 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 19% and 18%, respectively. Learn how Greenleaf stacks up against the other OWN TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will OWN cancel or renew Greenleaf for season five? Though the series’ ratings have dropped, Greenleaf is still one of OWN’s most popular shows so I don’t think it’s ending, at least right now. Greenleaf Greenleaf!!! I vote, yes! Bring it back. I fell in love with the characters, who almost each one are very relatable. The church and the black community mixed with wealth, family and commitment, Self preservation, self will and righteousness with a side of Jesus, help us Lord! I need to see more, I say, ” yes to season 5!”❤

How can you NOT have season 5?? Thhat would becso unfair. I need to see Klarissa completely outsted from family & be humbled by it. My take is she’s so blinded by her hate towatds Mae that, just like Mae, her ego blinded her to see how much like Mae she truly is!!

Plus I don’t want to see Phil lead anything!! Although Charity deserves to be happy… let’s face it: she needs to grow up. She’s too priviledged and plays victim too easily.

Hopefully the folks monitoring the viewing stats of this show are also watching the fans who wait and binge watch the show at the end of the season as a stream. Is there a way to include those viewers? Also can it be monitored when fans DVR the show and watch later? Just would hate to have it cancelled when there are so many watching in other modalities.

Please bring season 5 of Greenleaf back. Demonstrates what often happens when a small church organization becomes obsessed with growth and the interactions of those involved. I’ve seen it happen locally.

We love this show Green Leaf open alot of people eyes about relationships and what’s going on inside this church’s and how family turn against each other just to get a what they want.
