TV show description:
After purchasing an engagement ring to give his fiance, Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) sees a pretty woman’s face briefly morph into a monster’s. Shortly afterward, he and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), are called to investigate the violent death of a female college student in the woods. Her limbs seem to have been pulled apart by a superhuman wolf creature. Later, a girl in a red coat disappears.
While at the home of his devoted girlfriend, Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), Nick is visited by his Aunt Marie (Kate Burton), a librarian. She pulls him aside but, before she can tell him the reason for her visit, they’re attacked by a monster. Marie is gravely hurt but Nick shoots and kills the monster — who then transforms into a human. The monster’s weapon is decorated with strange writing that spells “Reapers of the Grimms.”
Badly injured, Marie gives Nick a necklace and tells him to guard it with his life. She also tells him that his parent didn’t die in a car accident as he believed — they were murdered. At the hospital, Marie tells Nick that he is one of the last “Grimms,” an elite line of criminal profilers. They are charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. It turns out that the Grimms’ Fairy Tales are true stories and the monsters in them are real.
Nick later inspects Marie’s trailer and finds hidden weapons, books, and other Grimm equipment. He studies an open book and immediately finds a picture of the girl that he saw outside the jewelry store.
While still investigating his case, Nick sees a man named Eddie Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) transform into a wolf. It turns out that he’s not the killer. Monroe explains that there are many different Grimm creatures and not all of them are villainous. Monroe has been able to quell his true nature and exist peacefully with humans, like many Grimm creatures do. With his help, Nick locates the killer, kills him, and rescues the girl.
As Nick tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from Juliette, Hank, and his boss, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz), he becomes more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world. Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils.

What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Do you think it should be ending with season six? Would you have watched a seventh season?

NBC sucks. There is no point in watching shows n NBC because they cancel them with impunity. After all the great shows they canceled over the years – Dark Skies, The Others, Heroes TWICE, Aquarius, STAR TREK TWICE – who can trust NBC to see any quality imaginative property through to its end?
The only reason I started watching Grimm on NBC was because I saw it on WGN, then had to pick up where thesyndication left off.
Very well said! I could not agree more!
still hoping this will get another season !!! this is a great and rare show !!! fantastic cast !!!
Love this show, so disappointed. its seems like nothing is on TV but naked people and crap. Grimm was a refreshing change
Grimm was one of my all time favorites. I am a bit discouraged with NBC. I don’t watch TV much because it’s turned into all that reality TV crap. Shows like Grimm allowed me to escape from reality and reminded me of the fairy tales that I grew up with, but of course a bit more for adults. I understand why the viewers dropped, which was after Nicks mom was killed off at the end of the fourth season. The viewers dropped in the 5th season because this was heartbreaking to most of us. I wish NBC had shown a… Read more »
Bring Grimm back! I look forward to watching my favorite show Grimm all week. It seems that every time they get a show on that a lot of people like they cancel it. Many of my friends and family watched this show faithfully and are very upset over it cancelling.
I love this show!!! NBC should find a sponsor to do a never-ending series!!!
It was dumb to end the series…it was terrific and well worth renewing. I never miss an episode!
Great show! Should not end…yes I would watch 7th 8th seasons etc!
Please somebody ….pick up this amazing show. Shame on NBC for canceling the one reason I watch their stupid network. I will be changing the channel for good if Grimm is no longer on.
I wish they wouldn’t cancel it I loved that show
Love this show very different
Sorry to see this show end. Loved it from the very beginning
I would also love to see the series continued into the next generation. I could see alliances between Grimm and vession very easy.
I would watch a 7th and 8th season. Feel like we got cheated not seeing the triplets born. Wouldn’t mind watching a spin off about the next generation of Grimms at all
Grimm is a unique show and should not be ending. There are so many places that show can develop further in the story. Grimm is one of the few shows that does not follow a clone format. Bring it back.
