Looks like Hulu is getting a head start on spring cleaning. Variety reports the streaming service has dropped more than 20 shows from Univision.
The Spanish-language series include Tres Veces Ana, Vino el Amor, Pasión y Poder, and Amores Con Trampa.
Apparently, the series have been dropped because the deal between Hulu and Univision expired on March 31st. However, the kids’ talent show Pequeños Gigantes and the Mexican telenovela A Que No Me Dejas will remain on Hulu until their current seasons finish in mid-April.
Univision released a statement saying they are currently in discussions with Hulu about how to move forward:
Titles come and go on SVOD platforms. We are currently in discussions with Hulu regarding the best windowing strategy for Univision’s premier content, which until now included current programming.”

HULU how long does it take to come to an agreement with UNIVISION,……..is there going to be an agreement with UNIVISION?It looks like “not at all, haven’t heard anything different.SO SO sad and disappointing, wasn’t expecting this HULU!!! Yes now it’s telemundo……but honestly UNIVISION has great telenovelas,which is what I really miss.please bring UNIVISION back it’s not the same at all.YOU Hulu can’t go wrong,and would keep many viewers.There’s a big difference between both networks!!!!
UNIVISION is very popular with in Hispanics!!!I would say more than Telemundo.That’s why it’s so disappointing that it’s been taken away! UNIVISION has awesome telenovelas…..reason being why you Hulu should bring UNIVISION back!”YOU Would KEEP MANY HISPANIC VIEWERS!!!
Why take Hispanic programs away like Univision, when you have so many English programs also ,which is great! but we also look forward to the Spanish programs just the same.There are many,many Hispanic people including me that would appreciate having Univision back.I’m sure you have many Hispanic costumers.Can you take it in consideration please!!!!!

I’m very upset that you guys took down mi novelas from Univision! I was in the middle of my show Vino el amor !!!! until the next day they were gone! Hulu has gotten really boring! You guys took alot of good shows, and some of the movies are boring. I feel like deleting hulu account and stick to netflix!!!!
