What’s This TV Show About?
A History Middle Ages drama, Knightfall tells the story of the Knights Templar. Mark Hamill joins the History drama for season two, with Tom Cullen, Pádraic Delaney, Ed Stoppard, Simon Merrells, Julian Ovenden, and Jim Carter returning. Also new in the second season are Genevieve Gaunt, Tom Forbes, and Clementine Nicholson. The series explores the secret world of these warrior monks. With the downfall of the Templar Order looming, season two focuses on themes including power, redemption, revenge, betrayal, family, and an epic war between church and state.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Knightfall averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 652,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 48% and 47%, respectively. Find out how Knightfall stacks up against other History TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will Knightfall be cancelled or renewed for season three on History? The ratings are way down but this channel has so few scripted series, it’s difficult to tell what numbers they consider to be high enough for a renewal. It’s their lowest-rated scripted series so I’m inclined to think it’s toast. I’ll update this page with new developments. Subscribe for free alerts on any Knightfall cancellation and renewal news.

A show that weaves history between what is a fact and what is not, captivating and season 3 is a must!
I can’t stand shows that are so good they get poor ratings I think its today’s society that’s more into reality tv and total fake bias shows that try and push their beliefs onto others I hope this show continues atleast for a third season to wrap everything up.

Don’t cancel Knightfall!!! My husband and I have watched this T..V. series from the beginning. We both really enjoy these types of shows because of the era it is. Hard to find good series and when you do they are canceled.
BRING KNIGHTFALL BACK!!! ENOUGH OF THOSE STUPID SHOWS THAT MAKE LITTLE SENSE FOR ANYONE WATCHING!!
Please renew this series. Knightfall is done so well and it really would be a shame not to renew it.
Please bring it back. While not historically accurate, the first two seasons flowed well. The question is where would they go next for the script. Maybe something based on the original founding of the Templars and their duty to protect Christian travelers to Jerusalem. Wish I was bright enough to contribute 🙂
Renewed! Hell yeah! Everything has come to end either canceled it s over! Please I even missed season 2! I would love for the Network NOT 2 cancel.

It always seems the good shows get cancelled.
The problem is marketing/advertising, not content. This show is waaayyyy better than most other shows on basic cable. Netflix should pick it up. I found it on Netflix and then PAID for season 2 on Amazon Prime.
Season 3, PLEASE. I love this show. They need to advertise it more. Maybe try to put it on Netflix instead of History channel. I found season 1 on Netflix, that’s how I learned about the show. I think Mark Hamill makes a great addition to the show.
WE NEED IT!
While I’m not a huge fan of the Catholic church OR the Knights Templar (historically), I AM a fan of this show and would love to see it continue. Especially with the amazing ending to season 2.
Please, please renew, second season was very strong, great soundtrack, great characters, so much more to give regarding storylines. Very much hope you will renew for another season, if only to tie up loose ends.
