As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like La Brea is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of La Brea here. *Status Update Below.
An NBC disaster-mystery series, the La Brea TV show stars Natalie Zea, Eoin Macken, Jon Seda, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chiké Okonkwo, Karina Logue, Zyra Gorecki, Jack Martin, Veronica St. Clair, Rohan Mirchandaney, Lily Santiago, Josh McKenzie, and Chloe De Los Santos. The story begins as a massive sinkhole opens up in the middle of Los Angeles, swallowing cars and buildings and separating the Harris family between two worlds. On the surface, there’s teen daughter Izzy (Gorecki) and Gavin (Macken), her father who has a troubled past. When Gavin realizes his visions might just be the key to finding their loved ones, time will be the only thing that stands in their way.

*11/14/21 update: La Brea has been renewed for a second season on NBC.
La brea is not far fetched. In California thier are tar pits that go back 30 000 yrs ago. I cannot wait for the next episode. It is very well done.
I think La Brea has impress me thru the whole season the plot and acting has been awsome cant wait for the next episoed this show should go for at least five seasons or more to end just dont very good show
10/26 episode very good!
Horrible acting, boring so far. Gave up after 2 episodes
‘La Brea’ had some Interesting first shows. Reminded my wife and I of the series ‘The Dome’, which got very boring quickly. Hoping this show goes further. So far the lost type of shows can be like ‘My Favorite Martian’ where Uncle Martin never gets home to Mars again. We are hoping some people do get home again and come back to keep helping the others who want to go home to their main time line. What about people getting back and carrying with them unknown viruses too? They will probably hit on some theme like that later in the… Read more »
This show won’t last 10 episodes. This is the same network that cancelled Debris, Emergence and many others. Doesn’t have a prayer
La Brea has a fascinating psy fi premise and plot. I was immediately hooked. The dialogue, however, is mediocre at best. Please hire better writers.
It isn’t only the dialogue that is mediocre, its the acting and CGI that are just killing it for the show. Now, most places have it as a 6 episode season 1. However TV Time has a 10 episode run thru to the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We shall see. Haven’t been able to confirm the additional 4 episodes anywhere but there but they have dates, times and episode titles. The ratings have been leading its time slot so its hard to say if “La Brea” gets another shot at a season or if they just end it after 1.
I’m liking the show can’t wait to see where it goes. It reminds me of past shows, but worth a season 2 as long as they keep it interesting.
I don’t see a season two.
May the show come to the end of season one.
Looks like new version of UNDER THE DOME. MAY LAST 2 seasons
Is this Lost 2.0, Manifest 2.0? Lame so far. I’ll give it another shot but I don’t see it lasting based on the first outing.
I enjoyed it, too. One thing I do want to know… I saw a baby stroller in one of the scenes…. so where’s the baby?
I liked it. It had a Roland Emmerich vibe, with some “Lost” sprinkled in and sundry others in varying doses. I intend to watch more, as long as it remains intriguing and engaging. Around my house, however, we have a saying about new t.v. shows: “Don’t get too attached; if we like it, it’s going to be cancelled.” Too many instances to relate in verification of that attitude. If this continues, I hope it will last past a sneeze.
Worth watching the next episode
meant to hit thumbs up, hit down by mistake
Off to a good start!
