What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Lethal Weapon stars Damon Wayans, Seann William Scott, Kevin Rahm, Johnathan Fernandez, Michelle Mitchenor, Keesha Sharp, Dante Brown, and Chandler Kinney. The series follows Detective Roger Murtaugh (Wayans), his LAPD colleagues, and his family at home. After a tragedy, Murtaugh is partnered with Detective Wesley Cole (Scott), a former CIA operative who’s been everywhere and seen everything. How long will it take him to adjust to Los Angeles?
Season Three Ratings

I really enjoy this show. There are so many creative directions it can continue in. Riggs death could have been planned so that he could go into witness protection until the rest of his father’s accomplices were arrested. It’s fiction tv so anything is possible. I don’t believe the the show needs to be canceled, there are too many possibilities for good entertainment left. The cast is excellent. All of them !!

I think its ok SWS character is far from Riggs to bad they can’t bring back Riggs for a special episode somehow they didn’t copy CC character but if they were to partner up for a mission Riggs and Cole it would be explosive

This show just doesn’t cut it without Clayne Crawford. He was the main talent of the show and he was what kept us wanting to see more. His chemistry with the other actors was awesome, believable. The show should be cancelled.
I almost agree with you. In my opinion the only way to save the show after fox’s colossal screw up in firing Crawford is to bring him back whatever it takes. This is TV I can not count the times a killed off character has been brought back. I believe him and Seann will bring back all the viewers and then some. I would like to hear opinions on this maybe fox will see them and maybe use some.
Netflix should bring it back simple with clayne
I was a loyal Lethal Weapon fan… through the original movies and then with the series… until Clayne Crawford was fired. I have tried to watch the new series but it just doesn’t work for me without Riggs. I think Clayne should return as Riggs and work with Cole. Either replace Wayans with a better actor or just write the character out all together. Clayne was the star and Lethal Weapon will never survive without him.
Scott is great on this show and has added character to the show,it’s a lot better it should be renewed the hand to hand combat is more like the true Riggs from the movie anyhow. Crawford was a ripoff of it. Wayans did the right thing getting rid of him. I love the show better than ever now.
I didn’t think I would like it but the action is much better. I would like to see another season.

Think u should get Riggs back keep cole! It was all a bad dream from shot in coma! let D leave!!!! Good riddens! He get complacsive lately in all his show to bad he used to be a good actor. Rodger can be replaced same name different dude they have done it in the past since bewitched! Heck he could have needed a complete face reconstruction when saving Riggs in a shoot out. U can do it!
If lethal weapon was smart they would let Wayne’s walk and find a way to revive Riggs to then partner with Cole. That would be entertaining as hell. Wayne’s is getting old anyhow he’s great off screen but supposedly he’s a baby off screen. Riggs was the heart and soul of the show and cole has already taken the spot light. Wayne is extremely replaceable. Bring back Riggs as he faked his death to pursue something else where. He finds out Murtaugh is killed and comes back to venge his death. I watched 1st episode from Season 3, I really liked it, but that whole Wayans quitting, and ratings drasticlly falling… This show will end with season 3, that’s big shame, I really love Sean William Scott and anyway, it’s nice to watch him in this season, even if it’s the last one.

What a waste. They defied the odds and created a decent redo of a beloved franchise and then let an ego ruin the whole thing anyway. If Wayans had just left the series would have gone on with Crawford and probably continued with little controversy. He actually gave a damn about the quality of the show. Wayans wanted out but seemed determined to take Crawford down first. Ironically writer Shane Black wanted to kill Riggs off in the film series but luckily didn’t get his way. I feel like Mary Riggs IS the lethal weapon. I loved the show with him in it and feel like that is as it should be. The movie was about Riggs. So, when they let Riggs die off and replaced him, it lost the whole point of the story. I am sure an ex CIA agent turned cop is an outstanding idea for a series, just not really in the “Lethal Weapon” I am not watching the series anymore, but in Sea 1 & 2 it was among my favorite AllTime series. I agree with Danielle 100%. The original movies STARTED the Buddy style that has become popular. Wayans and this new guy just do not have the chemistry Clayne Crawford brought to the show. Whatever went on behind the scenes, it was a super lame move to take Crawford out and put in this gut who has absolutely NO CHARISMA. Wayans and The network should have worked harder to promote a peaceful solution. Lacking that, they SHOULD have canceled the show. Wayans sounds like a crybaby! Boohoo! Goodbye, good riddance!
Actually you can trace it back to Freebie and the Bean. In fact there’s even some sequences that were taken right out of that film and put into the Lethal franchise. Like the scene in Lethal Weapon 4 where they go flying off the overpass and into a building. Freebie and the Bean did the same scene in the 1970s. That love hate cop buddy action style really started with James Caan (Freebie) and Alan Arkin (The Bean). That being said, Lethal Weapon did best.
