Littlest Pet Shop will return with season four to Discovery Family on November 7, but the network has cancelled the series. This means that season four will be the last.
Roger Eschbacher, a writer for the animated series, announced the cancellation on his website on Saturday. He revealed that Hasbro had decided to pull the plug on the series, and he said it had something to do with toy sales. It was not a case of low ratings.

Hello, I just wanted to say that I loved the show and now that it’s gone, I am sad… I like the new lps too. Not gen 3 though! Those do not stand up correctly! I mean g6 lps are cool! Or is it g5 lps? Anyways now we lps a world of our own, I HATE THIS SHOW! The new pets don’t have Blythe to talk to or hang out with, it’s so upsetting to see this new show ruin the other one! Well, look, although the series was canceled, because I’ll take care of that, I’ll make the series come back and I’ll do a kind of crosover with another series but from the same franchise, and our world is littlest pet shop.
