Looks like Lucifer Morningstar isn’t quite a lucky devil any longer. His show’s ratings have fallen year after year and so, FOX has cancelled its Lucifer TV show. Sadly, fans of the supernatural crime drama won’t be seeing a fourth season this fall.
A FOX comedy-drama, Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Tricia Helfer, Scarlett Estevez, and Tom Welling. The supernatural procedural centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (German) crack cases.
Lucifer: A Look at the Ratings
The third season of Lucifer is averaging a 0.83 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.30 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 20% and down by 10%, respectively. While those declines aren’t huge, the series has seen dips in its ratings each season and the series could easily have been cancelled before. Apparently, the ratings dipped just a bit too low.
Out of the scripted FOX TV shows we’re tracking, Lucifer ranks 13th in terms of its demo performance and rises to 10th place in terms of average total audience size.
Lucifer showrunner Joe Henderson broke the bad news this afternoon.
So… yeah. #Lucifer has been cancelled. And it fucking HURTS. I loved this show so damn much and everyone put their heart and soul into it. Heartbreaking doesn't begin to describe.

The defacto series finale airs Monday, May 14th.

if you look at the overall show it has a real feel to it , most shows don’t . well I will say good -bye to fox , everything else is crap.
loved the show but knew this was going to happen when Disney bought Fox. Disney is know to cancel a lot of good shows and it is terrible that it keeps happening. Heard it might be on Netflix now might have to order that. I am done with networks.
BS every year we watch you networks cancel show after show. Move it around to have the highest rating for that nigh ,instead of being saticfied with rating period!
WTH! Another GOOD show bites the dust! We looked forward to watching every week! Loved the storylines, characters & the uniqueness of this show! Not a happy camper here! : (

Once again Fox has decided to cancel a show that had some unique plot twists and well developed characters. Also, season 3 clearly ended with a cliff hanger – so a knee jerk reaction based on ratings has left many fans wondering how the story would have developed.
When I first saw Lucifer I was Instantly hooked. I looked forward to Monday nights and Lucifer. I don`t understand why they canceled It. There Is a lot of garbage shows they put on or reboot . Roseann for 1.
Please re-think cancelling Lucifer. The cast are fantastic and I love the way the guy playing the lead role really hams it up. It’s sooo watchable.

Absolutely gutted it’s been cancelled!! It was one of my favourite shows. This is very sad indeed.
I loved the show! Love Tom Ellis! It was different then most. I looked forward to my date with the devil every week. Glass of wine in hand, phone turned off, no interruptions!

We’re British and have only just started season 2 here. My teenage daughter and absolutely love Lucifer, we watch it together every week. In fact so much so she sneaked into our Amazon Prime account and watched all series 2&3 in 2 days of non-stop delight ! That was when she broke the news that not only did she watch without me (she loves to drop spoilers & can’t keep a secret to save her life!) But the show has been cancelled. Totally bummed! I have very few shows and it seems EVERY SINGLE ONE gets canceled by FOX or ABC! Bad choice!
you start watching a show get interested in it then it becomes your favorite show then bam it gone then what they put a stupid show on what is next we have a list of shows that we watch and this is one of them.
