What’s This TV Show About?
A CBS action-adventure series, MacGyver stars Lucas Till, George Eads, Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, and Meredith Eaton. The reimagined drama centers on Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Till), a 20-something adventurer. Mac creates a secret organization within the US government. There, he uses his vast scientific knowledge and an extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving to save the world.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of MacGyver averaged a 0.70 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.11 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 16% and 11%, respectively. Find out how MacGyver stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will CBS cancel or renew MacGyver for season four? Though the ratings are down, I can’t see them cancelling this show this time around. The network will want more episodes for the syndication package. I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. Hawaii Five-0, McGyver, Seal Team & SWAT are the BEST show’s on TV! These are Definitely KEEPER’S, PLEASE RENEW FOR EVER! As I’m a Action Junky and these show’s have improved expodentialy over the past few month’s. They seem to be getting better after each showing.

It should be renewed. The MacGyver cast is awesome with or without George Eads.
Desi also shows a lot of promise and she fits in well with the team. I barely even notice Jack gone! It feels as if he has retired and has selected a good replacement to protect Mac in his stead.
I dearly hope for a season 4, I’m loving the different take of the classic MacGyver.

I think it should be renewed!
Though you may be proud of your musicians, we came to watch and hear the show. Some of us have hearing challenges thus with the music competing with what is being said by actors we are extremely frustrated. When we want to hear music we will turn on our own music. We want to enjoy your show, at present with the music we cannot. Today’s show the music very much ruined the show. Unless the music is culled out, or very much turned down we will not return.

If you are talking about Bubba Jones’s comment: He is saying the
music that shows play on almost all shows now is so loud a person
watching the show can not hear what the actors are saying. He is
right, you can’t turn up the sound to hear what the actors are saying
because the background noise of music is so loud, the music just
gets louder and you still can’t hear what the actors are saying. Why
is the music there anyway. It is annoying.
I agree, I can not hear what anybody is saying in almost all shows now because
the music in the background is too loud. Why is that?
The new MacGyver series is for me the best series I’ve seen, so I’m asking for a 4th season. Please extend this ingenious series. She deserves to get another or more seasons. The exit of George Eads is totally unimportant. The series is just as good without it. So as a fan who has devoured every episode so far and can not wait to see the next one asks for another season of this absolutely brilliant series.
How can you say the jack was not important.His replacement isn’t even adequate enough to be a replacement; she looks totally out of place she’s not sexy Her acting skills are horrendously horrifying.;she has some fighting skills but that’s it. I posted one comment but it didnt take. So here goes again. MacGyver is such a great show for my husband and I to watch. We are retired and will record it if we cant watch that week. So please dont cancel the show that has such creative inventions in it and makes the viewers happy. If Mr Eads is gone, that is ok cause the rest of the cast is awesome.
Love the show!! Love watching the episodes over and over again! Please continue making episodes and seasons!! But also please bring Jack back too, the dynamic duo of Mac and Jack are so fun to watch and laugh along with on their adventures! Even my 3 year old loves watching the show with me, it’s our mother-daughter show!
I love Macgyver but it’s just not the same without Jack Dalton. Either bring him back or create a spin off show. The character is just too good to lose.
They should renew MacGyver
Pretty please have season 4 and bring back jack dalton character. I know he wants time off. But I love his character and I like George Eads too. We need season 4
