Does Elizabeth McCord still have it all in control during the fourth season of the Madam Secretary TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Madam Secretary is cancelled or renewed for season five. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all the Madam Secretary season four episodes here.
A CBS political thriller, Madam Secretary stars Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, Bebe Neuwirth, Željko Ivanek, Keith Carradine, Sebastian Arcelus, Patina Miller, Geoffrey Arend, Erich Bergen, Kathrine Herzer, Wallis Currie-Wood, and Evan Roe. The drama follows the shrewd, determined Elizabeth McCord (Leoni). As U.S. Secretary of State, she battles office politics, while driving diplomacy and negotiating global deals.
Elizabeth was once a CIA analyst, who exited that post for ethical reasons. She later returned to public life, at the request of President Conrad Dalton (Carradine). He values her apolitical leanings, knowledge of the Middle East, flair for languages, and unconventional thinking. Elizabeth is married to Henry (Daly), a former theology professor who is now an intelligence operative. Together, they’re bringing up three children, which can really test her diplomatic skills.
What do you think? Which season four episodes of the Madam Secretary TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Should CBS cancel or renew Madam Secretary for a fifth season? Don’t forget to vote, and share your thoughts, below.
Madam Secretary is the best political show ever. Sometimes I have to remind myself it is a TV show not reality. Please move it to Monday night or Wednesday or Thursday night and watch your rating grow
Madam Secretary is a great show!
I agree 100% with the other comments regarding the time slot. Why would CBS terminate this show without trying a new day and time? We have DVR, so we are not really affected by this issue. However, I definitely see how it is a hidden gem. My husband and I look forward to Madam Secretary every week, as it is one of the few shows that do not insult our intelligence, is inoffensive, and actually deals with personal issues and current events. Great acting! P.S. ~ The network should consider another age group when it comes to votes……..
one of the best programs on tv. but it comes on so late sometimes when the football games go late. how about aother night? 9/10 on sunday night is a tough spot. people have to go back to work on monday and don’t stay up late to watch it. i give it a 10.
This is a terrific intelligent show but is getting killed because of the bad time slot….move it to another night. A show that actually makes you think!! My what a concept.
This is the only television show that we even watch. It is irritating when it is cancelled due to Sunday night football. Why is this show on at 9:30 on Sunday nights? It needs a better time slot!
Madame Secretary is a great program, but CBS isn’t doing anything to keep it’s rating from lowering by scheduling it a 10 PM or later if there is a football game. They need to move it to a better time slot, so more people can watch it.
I am in love with this show. I can’t wait to watch it very week. Please keep it. This is a great story line that is appropriate to our time. Love, love, love…..
PLEASE, do NOT cancel this show! Thank you.
This is my favorite show, just wish it was in a different time slot. Could do away with nfl?
Please continue with the next season of Madam Secretary. I believe you would have more people viewing this show at a time slot that is not constantly being pushed later and later. Many may not do what I do and that is watch it on another night on my computer. Madam Secretary has great writers and actors. Not crazy about where the story is going with Stevie, however.
Awesome writers, very well scripted! Excellent cast, altho not sure yet of Kat. The 10 pm Sunday night time slot is terrible. Move her back to 8 or at least 9, before NCIS with all it’t violence! Keep Madame Secretary!!!
I love this show. Don’t cancel it. It is so refreshing.
Madam Secretary is one of my favorite shows – I hope it goes on for many seasons! No other dare to deal with the topics they tackle each week, and it is great to see what goes on in the back to obtain concrete results. The play and script are of superior quality. Besides, it’S not as if they are going to run out of ideas to keep on writing it!
Great Show
