What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Magnum PI stars Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang, and Amy Hill. This reboot of the 1980s TV show follows Thomas Magnum (Hernandez), a decorated former Navy SEAL who repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. He lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business. The “majordomo” of the property is Juliet Higgins (Weeks), a beautiful and commanding disavowed MI:6 agent who keeps Magnum in line. When Magnum needs back-up on a job, he turns to his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, chopper pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin (Hill) and Orville “Rick” Wright (Knighton), a former Marine door-gunner who now runs a nightclub. Magnum frequently has run-ins with police detective Gordon Katsumoto (Kang) and the two are more alike than either cares to admit. Teuila “Kumu” Tuileta (Hill) is one of Magnum’s biggest fans and is also the unofficial “House Mom” and cultural curator of Robin’s Nest.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Magnum PI averaged a 0.65 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.66 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 27% in the demo and up by 11% in viewership. Find out how Magnum PI stacks up against other CBS TV shows.

Every Friday night I look forward to watching Magnum and it’s been WAY to long since we’ve seen him. I’m sorry, I’m not watching whatever you put in that time slot, I’m just going to watch what I have recorded. Bring Magnum Back! Please!

CBS Please Do not cancel this show. I love the show and hopefully you will renew the show for many more seasons to come and at least put it back on a night where people will watch the show.
I rarely watch TV…but never miss Magnum P.I. It is such an amazing show. I love this show and want to see another Season.

It’s March 2020. Where is Magnum pi? Friday nights are sad without Magnum and Higgins. Whats with that dud called MacGyver in our Magnum pi time slot? Bring Magnum back please.
This is my #1 tv show. Love it, I am 80 and most shows are not to my liking (exceptions Hawaii 50, Station 19, Grays anatomy and blue bloods)

I love Magnum Pi. I have watched it since it’s inception with Tom Selleck. I love the the remake of it and miss it very much. We always look forward to watching it. We are very saddened that it has not been on lately. Of course the ratings went down as I presume because it went from a Monday night to a Friday night when most people are out of the house at the particular time it airs. CBS. Leave MagnumPI on the air. The cast works very well together and the show is great…..
The new Magnum show has far more depth than the original. All the characters are really involved in the cases. There is more mystery than the Selleck version
