What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Magnum PI stars Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang, and Amy Hill. This reboot of the 1980s TV show follows Thomas Magnum (Hernandez), a decorated former Navy SEAL who repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. He lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business. The “majordomo” of the property is Juliet Higgins (Weeks), a beautiful and commanding disavowed MI:6 agent who keeps Magnum in line. When Magnum needs back-up on a job, he turns to his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, chopper pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin (Hill) and Orville “Rick” Wright (Knighton), a former Marine door-gunner who now runs a nightclub. Magnum frequently has run-ins with police detective Gordon Katsumoto (Kang) and the two are more alike than either cares to admit. Teuila “Kumu” Tuileta (Hill) is one of Magnum’s biggest fans and is also the unofficial “House Mom” and cultural curator of Robin’s Nest.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Magnum PI averaged a 0.65 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.66 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 27% in the demo and up by 11% in viewership. Find out how Magnum PI stacks up against other CBS TV shows.

Love the show, please don’t cancel it, program’s anymore are awful. I can’t watch with children, too much in appropriate. Magnum P.I. is one of the best shows on television.
I love the reboot, I used to watch the old series reruns on tvland as a kid. So know that’s it been rebooted I was expecting something awful yet I have been pleasantly surprised. Jay Hernandez is a great magnum and the sexual tension between him and Higgins is an interesting twist. They have great chemistry along with the rest of the cast. Let’s not forget many of us may not watch it live but follow thru with our Dvr recordings or on the cbs app. Please don’t cancel such a great show. The cross over has been a great… Read more »

It seems like every time there’s a good Friday night line up you cancel shows. Magnum PI is a great show! It’s got good story lines and is a good family shiw. Not filthy language and sexy scenes like a lot if shows nowadays. Please don’t cancel! You’ve already cancelled Hawaii 50 which is another loss.

Bring Magnum back……the crew is awesome and Jay Hernandez is a great Magnum, his character is a high quality person who is always looking to do the right thing….. a refreshing thing to see in todays society.
Go to the Hallmark Mystery Channel, they are replaying all 8 seasons of the original Magnum. So much better!
I think Magnum P I is a great show; very uplifting! Please bring it back!
