Matt LeBlanc is back on network television with Man with a Plan. He’s had a pair of successful comedy TV shows (Friends and Episodes) but another one, Joey, didn’t last. Will Man with a Plan be a hit in the ratings for CBS and be renewed for a second season or, will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
On Man with a Plan, a contractor and father named Adam (Matt LeBlanc) starts spending more time with his kids while his wife (Liza Snyder) returns to work for the first time in 13 years. He discovers that taking care of them (Grace Kaufman, Matthew McCann, and Hala Finley) is harder than he imagined. Thankfully (sort of), Adam has the support of his older brother (Kevin Nealon) and similarly stressed friends (Jessica Chaffin and Matt Cook). Diana Maria Riva also co-stars.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/23 update: Man with a Plan has been renewed for season two on CBS. Details here.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
