There are more Manifest mysteries to be solved but viewers won’t get answers on the peacock network. NBC has cancelled the TV series so, there won’t be a fourth season.
An action-drama series, the Manifest TV show stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long, and Holly Taylor. After a turbulent but routine flight, the crew and passengers of Flight 828 disembarked to find the world had aged more than five years. Their friends, families, and colleagues had given up hope of ever seeing them again. In season three, faced with the impossible, the passengers’ dreams of a second chance at life evaporate as they encounter imminent dangers surrounding them, both tangible and unexplained. In season three, new challenges will test the Stone family’s trust of “the callings” and each other. Sticking together is more important than ever, because no matter what happens, it’s all connected.
The third season of Manifest averaged a 0.47 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.07 million viewers in the live+same day ratings. Compared to season two, that’s down by 31% in the demo and down by 21% in viewership. The finale aired last week.
Manifest creator Jeff Rake has spoken about having a six-season plan for the show and broke the news of the cancellation via Twitter.
My dear Manifesters,
I’m devastated by NBC’s decision to cancel us. That we’ve been shut down in the middle is a gut punch to say the least. Hoping to find a new home. You the fans deserve an ending to your story. Thanks for the love shown to me, cast, and crew. #savemanifest

Warner Bros. TV, which co-produces the series, is expected to shop season four elsewhere. Manifest has reportedly performed well on Netflix so the streamer may be an option.
What do you think? Are you disappointed by the Manifest TV series cancellation? Would you have watched a fourth season?
One of my favorite shows. So disappointed that they are canceling the show without an ending. Why do the networks do this? Please bring it back and wrap up the loose ends. Only fair to loyal fans and cast.
Great actors and writers.
I feel like I’ve been watching football all season and they canceled the super bowl I hope you don’t make a dime NBC when someone with some common sense pics manifest up
I’m the Devil, so I probably shouldn’t like this show, since it seems to be going all “biblical” lately….
But I’ll be eternally damned if I don’t like it anyway. Now I’m not threatening to send any NBC suits to Hell. They already sealed their eternal fates when they went to work for Comcast, so that’s off the table.
But I do hope Netflix picks up the show. As they have with “Lucifer”, “Designated Survivor”, “Longmire”, and other victims of network incompetence.
I will not watch anything on NBC again I want manifest season 4 I am so sick of all the crime dramas this was something different but I guess NBC has to stay in their comfort zone of blah blah blah entertainment oops my bad manifest is entertaining something you need to realize NBC. I’m hoping this is a big joke if so is not very funny I finally found something worth watching all the commercials for and you’re taking it away and you’re taking it away. Not cool NBC not cool at all.
Hehehe, I’ve canceled watching that after season 1, I even bought it on iTunes and supported the team but disappointed in the story and the cast, acting was horrible specially the kids.
So upset. I loved that show!
I was waiting for this. They suck you in and leave you hanging.
There needs to be a rule that if you cancel one of these Sci-Fi mystery shows, you need to put together a two-hour wrap-up episode to explain everything.
noooo 🙁
I think three more seasons are too many, but there definitely should be a season 4 to provide a conclusion to the mysteries of 828 and the callings.
Yep, 6 season plan seems crazy. Cut off all stupid family drama and do 3-4 proper seasons.
If they had cut out all the stupid family drama stuff and made a tighter sci-fi show it could have been much better. One of the best part of the finales was when Grace got knocked off. Nothing against the actress but her character was nothing but annoying. And just as we were going to get a new actor for Cal. I’m sure the kid is a great kid and maybe he will develop into a decent actor but he’s not close yet. But after watching for 3 years, I’d watch the last season. Maybe there is hope for Netflix… Read more »
Wow – I couldn’t have said it any better. We love science fiction shows, but whenever Grace was on, I had to fast forward her scenes. She didn’t seem to have any purpose. The plots were all over the place and they couldn’t quite decide what the story was supposed to be. I am always amazed that people need closure for a show. It’s make-believe people. You can decide for yourselves.
Agreed, except the actress that played Grace is just awful!
Seriously???!! During the night it was cancelled. Thanks a lot. Us committed fans wait long enough to see a new season and now you are cancelling it? Please everyone support the wonderful cast. They put their heart and soul into this series. Someone, Netflix, please pick it up for a fourth season.
Just plain wrong!!!! Such idiots to cancel this show!!! Boycott NBC!! Jerks!!!
This was agreat show. Very disappointed in NBC. They have cancelled many good series and kept the stupid reality shows. Basing a shows success during a pandemic is stupid!
Apparently NBC keeps the junk and cancels all the popular shows. Management by a bunch of morons!
What is the matter with you people! You have a great series with a plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat, great actors, great writing, great EVERYTHING and you cancel at the end of a devastating cliffhanger? Shame on you! I and many others are VERY disappointed with NBC. Please rectify this horrific mistake…and if not I will write every other resource to see if they have more sense than NBC!
