What’s This TV Show About?
A sci-fi action-adventure drama airing on the ABC television network, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Henry Simmons, and Natalia Cordova-Buckley. With Ghost Rider’s help, last season, Coulson (Gregg) and his team saved the world. At the end though, their celebration was cut short, and soon, Coulson was aboard a space ship. In season five, they will have figure out where they are and how to return home. Meanwhile, humanity’s time may be running out.

The fifth season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD is averaging a 0.53 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.07 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 28% in the demo and down by 11% in viewers. Find out how Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD stacks up against other ABC TV shows.
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD has been renewed for a sixth season which will debut May 10, 2019. The series has also been renewed for a seventh season. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Since Disney is the parent company for both ABC and Marvel, it seems that perhaps the ratings matter less than promoting the brand. I believe that Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD will be renewed for a sixth and final season. Still, since this fifth season will ensure a good-sized package for syndication, it’s not crazy to think this Marvel Comics Universe series could end here. I’ve watched this show since I was thirteen years old ,so since the very beginning .it’s my favorite show .I’m seventeen years old now (almost eighteen years old )and I kind of grew up a little bit watching this show and I would hate for abc to cancel it ,cause it’s a great show and in my opinion it is one of the very best show on abc. Agents of shield is my favorite TV show I really hope they renew! It is about the only show I actually watch. I usually DVR it because I work Friday nights. I got behind in season 2 because of hiatus and stuff i forgot about it but binge watched to catch up to season 4 and I love it more and more. They really hit me in the feels the last couple of episodes.
Keep it going and put it on the Disney streaming service. Nobody watches TV anymore since TV is limited to a specific region. Most of the shows I like I have to watch on pirated sites that I pay for in order to feel better. You have reduced viewers because most of the viewers are unable to access the show in a convenient but most importantly legal way.

If they could keep it running consecutively, instead of one show here and one show there. I missed last week because it wasn’t on but it was on a different channel at a different time. Watched it on demand tonight. There is no consistency, and when that happens, shows will lose their fan base, they lose interest because they miss eps. They can’t depend on the network. Hello! I’m a fan ! Tell me please ? Will the SHIELD Agents 6 season? What does it depend on? Where They wrote that the plot is enough for 2 seasons … what do you think?
I have to be honest, that I still had my doubts at the beginning of season 2, with the whole Ward storyline. I didn’t like that one bit, but the fact that what happend to him really got to me, proofs that you get really freaking invested in this show. It’s not the stroyline really, that’s so good, it’s the characters. I’d be devastated if this show got cancelled.. I’m addicted asf. I agree. Each season get better and better and the last one is AWESOME so far!
Sadly the first season is responsible for lower ratings and cause a lot of people stop watching the series just after couple of episodes and give poor rating for entire show 🙁
