There will be more mysteries for the Drew Crew to solve in the 2021-22 television season. The CW has renewed the Nancy Drew TV show for a third season.
A mystery series, Nancy Drew stars Kennedy McMann, Scott Wolf, Maddison Jaizani, Alex Saxon, Leah Lewis, Tunji Kasim, and Riley Smith. Nancy Drew (McMann) is a brilliant teenage detective whose sense of self had come from solving mysteries in her hometown of Horseshoe Bay, Maine – until her mother’s untimely death derails Nancy’s college plans. She and her close friends, aka the Drew Crew, ultimately discover the stunning truth about Lucy Sable, the ghost who’d been haunting Nancy. Season two finds Nancy dealing with the aftermath of that discovery and becoming an investigator for the legal practice of her father, Carson (Wolf). This leads to the Drew Crew exploring standalone cases, new romances, and emotional journeys of self-reinvention.
The second season of Nancy Drew averages a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 448,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 39% in the demo and down by 35% in viewership. As live+same day ratings keep dropping for most network shows, The CW continues to focus on streaming and other revenue sources.
“Though we’re just a few weeks into the new season, we wanted to get a strategic head start on next season with these early renewals, which allows our production teams to start laying out story arcs and hiring staff, and at the same time, continues to provide us with a strong, stable schedule to build on for next season,” said Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and CEO, The CW Network.
The CW also renewed 11 other TV shows today — All American (season four), Batwoman (season three), Charmed (season four), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (season seven), Dynasty (season five), The Flash (season eight), In the Dark (season four), Legacies (season four), Riverdale (season six), Roswell, New Mexico (season four), and Walker (season two).

I grew up with Nancy Drew n love the series but now I’m just waiting for the next series to begin so I can find out what happens next!!! Please bring the Drew crew back!!!
I love Nancy Drew. My favorite show on CW. I watch it a day late typically. I am so glad it was renewed for a third season. Also glad
I can stream the next day. I was surprised and quite pleased that they went there with the supernatural content, rather than generic villains or guys in masks, ala Scooby Doo.
Most Brutal show I have ever had the displeasure of watching.. the acting is absolutely horrible and the storyline is for the dogs.. also very bad lighting and directing with obvious lens flare and angles that are just abhorrent… the scenery is obviously produced by amateurs.. I would not recommend this POS..
Nancy Drew is an excellent show and we look forward to watching it on Wednesdays.

I love this show.
My daughter and I love the Nancy Drew series! We look forward to every episode we try not to miss any. Looking forward to the next one. Would be nice if she did have a few mysteries to solve here and there that were not strictly supernatural.

I like this show, but I do wish they would have Nancy solve more actual mysteries. It’s becoming literally nothing but a ghost-hunting show. I don’t mind the ghosts being real, but Nancy hasn’t had a human villain to go after since Season 1.
Nancy Drew stealth became one of my favorite shows without me even realizing it at first. I can’t do horror movies so I love shows like this and the dark Sabrina reboot that are spooky and mysterious without being too scary for me. It’s so hard to find a good spooky mystery that isn’t a horror flick! It’s on the CW so it’ll get 100 episodes. That’s the channel’s whole purpose.
