*4/1/2022 update: NCIS: Hawaii has been renewed for a second season on CBS.
I watched the NCIS Hawaii premiere, I enjoyed it overall. I like Vanessa’s character however not the supporting cast. I think they could have done a better casting job with more interesting characters. Maybe even transplant a character from an existing show to bridge the gap. Last night I watched the new CSI International & was instantly drawn to their characters and like all of them.
Terribly disappointing. Awful acting, trying super hard to be another Hawaii 5O and failing miserably. It was a let down. We’ll try and watch the next show, but if this doesn’t turn around quickly, we’ll be finding something else to entertain our evening.
Very disappointed, poor continuity and difficult to follow. They talk so fast that much of it was not listenable.
Not good. Cast sucked
Boring
Slow plot, does not meet NCIS standards, and very surprised that they had to show two women fooling around in bed. That was all for me, Have a Blessed Day…
This show was awful!…
I watched the first 40 minutes of the episode, and it was boring, and really bad. The last 20 minutes in my opinion sorta redeemed itself in a way that I don’t necessarily find myself feeling like I wasted an hour on this new show. I was pretty underwhelmed by the dialogue, and story but there were some somewhat strong aspects to this show, that although I do not see myself on board for the full season, at least I’m willing to see myself watching a few episodes. Hey sometimes it takes a while for a new show to find… Read more »
The show only runs 43 minutes continuously. Don’t get any adverts here in England.
Watched the first half. Didn’t interest me. Can’t compare to NCIS New Orleans.
Watched the show for approximately twenty minutes. Pretty boring. Should of kept NCIS New Orleans.
Was pretty let down . I’m a huge fan of all NCIS . Wasn’t introduced properly. You watch & seems all actors are trying to hard .Needed like Gibbs & co. Called in to assist & then run from there. No direction I’m sorry i turned away after the first half hr. PS think it needed more man & less juggling with family . Just seemed no way to get interested . Maybe different casting . Let down in So Florida
The first episode was really weak. Cast was somewhat boring! what can I say. Looked more like and info commercial for hawaii
Not good it had no plot. Just started with no background info. Wandered to much. I Wicklow not watch it. Rather go to Hawaii 5 -0
I watch all the NCIS shows. I thought this one NCIS Hawaii was boring. Not sure if I will watch this but we will see
I’m an avid fan of the NCIS franchise. I will continue to watch it. However this new part of the franchise I will not be watching. Too bad. There is so much good possibilities in the setting of Hawaii.
Try again with the scripting and casting. I say this with good intention for the continuation and success of this new show.
Hawaii 5 0 was way better than this, I’m disappointed
So far this looks like an over acted and poorly scripted, rapid fire female hormones on steroids attempt at promoting wonen because they are not men not because they are thinking competent investigators. Slow down the speach increase the age of the actors because these millennials cannot even pretend to be competent . You need a boss with gray hair not fake mean girly genes.
I agree. The DIA agent and the NCIS agent try to jump into a sexual relationship, when you thought it was to professional. It Made the new young male agent seem like a mama’s boy. He needs to stand up and act like a man and not be such a pansy, even dealing with his Dad (at least I thoughtit was his Dad.
My feelings as well….Too fast& furious! New names & vocabulary difficult to keep up with at such a fast pace…I miss NEW ORLEANS .
Background noise & music too loud…can’t hear actors voices clearly…must use “cc”to keep up with plot…(this is an issue for me on many different shows)
Me too and I have one of the best surround systems money can buy. Even the subtitler misses out script.
Should’ve kept New Orleans, much better music.
They didn’t start this spin-off with a crossover which is a mistake.
Yeah.. they canned Nola for this rubbish???
Bad move!!
