There’s some good news for fans of the NCIS franchise on CBS. Both NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles are returning to production in Los Angeles next month. Premiere dates have not been revealed yet. There’s no word on when the cast and crew of NCIS: New Orleans will return to filming.
Deadline revealed that production on season 18 of NCIS is planned to begin on September 9th, and production on season 12 of NCIS: Los Angeles Should start on September 3rd.
Those are not the only CBS shows that might soon return to production. Bull (season five) and Magnum P.I. (season three) both received the go-ahead to return to filming, but neither has a set start date yet. Bull films episodes in New York while Magnum P.I. films in Hawaii.

NCIS LA is my favorite show, so happy it’s back, though the changes are tough for me sometimes. I watch the reruns all the time!
NCIS is still my favorite show, although I really miss Tony and Ziva. Abby too. Even without these favorite characters and actors, NCIS is the best!

Really looking forward to NCIS:LA, my favorite. Also NCIS and NCIS:New Orleans. NCIS just isn’t the same without Abby, so it’s my 3rd favorite now. If I have to miss one it will be NCIS.
You’re right…. the show is SO MUCH BETTER WITHOUT ABBY! I love her replacement.
Abby is an original part of who NCIS is.and,while Kasey is an excellent replacement it is sad to see Abby go. Her goth theme/look was a unique part of the show. An added twist. Kasey is however doing an Excellent job taking over the lab.
I’m thrilled that all of the NCIS series are returning absolutely love them the only thing I wish for another man in NCIS new Orleans to replace Chris LaSalle such a pity he left the show.
