What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, New Amsterdam stars Ryan Eggold, Freema Agyeman, Janet Montgomery, Jocko Sims, Anupam Kher, and Tyler Labine. Doctor Max Goodwin (Eggold) is a caring and charming physician whose goal is to fix a broken medical system and to provide exceptional care to the people who need it most. He inspires (almost) everyone around him, and will stop at nothing to breathe new life into the understaffed, underfunded and underappreciated New Amsterdam hospital.

Will NBC cancel or renew New Amsterdam for season two? The ratings are still pretty strong (compared to other network shows) so this series looks safe for now, particularly since the network ordered a full season of 22 episodes. My family and I think it is a great show, uplifting in a lot of ways. I would realy like for this show to continue. I know there is alot of other medical dramas out there but not enough positive in alot of situations and this show has that. Writers you are geniuses for this one. Thumbs up!
My husband and I regularly watch “New Amsterdam” via on demand. It’s a strong show with good stories and excellent acting. We look forward to watching each episode and we’re happy to hear there’ll be more episodes. Hopefully there’ll be additional seasons.
