The alphabet network has decided to rename their upcoming news series from Nightline Prime to ABC’s The Lookout.
Debuting on Wednesday, May 29th, ABC’s The Lookout is described this way: “a survival guide to the modern consumer jungle that will offer a combination of compelling undercover investigations and lively dispatches separating fact from fiction about how you spend your money. Featuring a mix of smart reporting from ABC’s powerhouse team of correspondents, ‘Two Truths and a Lie’ will cover the trends and products that obsess Americans, offering tips along the way about how to maximize value and avoid costly mistakes.”
It’s unclear how many episodes have been ordered but The Lookout is expected to air over the summer months.

I’m a retired Texas lawyer, former ham and commercial FCC licensee, who had watched Nightline from its inception during the Iran Hostage Crisis when I was in traction for three weeks. Lookout, which I don’t seem to be the only person who had not heard abouit until I stumbled across it, seems to be doing some good journalism, including your 9:00 PM 6-26-13 piece on gas pump metering problems and the one on bad movers with crooked subcontractors , something I have seen personally and professionally.
