TV show description:
This crime drama follows a presumed dead former-CIA agent named John Reese (Jim Caviezel) who teams up with a mysterious billionaire, Mr. Finch (Michael Emerson), who’s also believed to be dead. Their goal is to prevent violent crimes by using technology and their own brand of vigilante justice.
Finch is a software genius who has invented a program that uses pattern recognition to identify people who are about to be involved in violent crimes — either the victim or the perpetrator. It was originally built for the government to prevent another 9/11 disaster but found that it was predicting less catastrophic, “irrelevant” crimes. Finch built a “backdoor” into the machine so that, before erasing the “irrelevant” data each night, Finch is sent the social security number of a person about to be involved in a serious crime.
Finch recruits Reese because of his special training in covert operations. Using their combined skills, resources and advanced surveillance technology, they work outside of the law to identify “persons of interest” and stop crimes before they occur.
Reese’s actions draw the attention of the NYPD — including homicide detectives Carter (Taraji P. Henson) and Fusco (Kevin Chapman). The latter is a corrupt cop and Reese blackmails him into being a source of information inside the department.
With infinite crimes to investigate, Reese and Finch find that locating the right person, with the right information, at the right time, can change everything.
Episode #103 — Return 0
Finch, Reese, Fusco and Shaw embark on one last mission to prevent Samaritan from destroying The Machine and cementing its hold over mankind.
First aired: June 21, 2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Person of Interest TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a sixth season?

I love this show and am very disappointed that there will be no more episodes. My question is….why?

My husband and I were very disappointed the show cancelled. We would love to see it come back.
Loved the show in the beginning……….slipped toward the end. Background music was loud and terrible……..it probably killed the show.
Love this show!!!! My husband and I are devastated it’s been canceled.
I loved this show!! So upset that it is over!!
This is one of the Best show ever. And yes they should continue it. I loved the show.
I loved the show
My husband and I loved the PofI program, so sorry to see the program end. Please bring Person of Interest back, the cast was awesome.
My husband and I both enjoyed Person of Interest. When we’re out of town he records the program to keep up with the status of each person. The program leaves individuals with the question of how far can and will the government go to keep up with its citizens. So sorry it is cancelled.
It was a great show and now its cancelled, very disappointed
finally a show i watched faithfully…even watching re-runs on w g n…and c b s cancels. DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved Person of Interest!!! “Reese” and “Finch” are the best actors! Why was it cancelled? It shouldn’t have been!!! The only show I really looked forward to each week! Darn it!
Apparently CBS didn’t own the show so the network wasn’t making any money off the reruns or syndication. The cancellation had very little to do with the ratings.
CBS screwed up when they cancelled this show!
POI was one of the more intelligent shows and it’s too bad that it was cancelled. The final episode did give a satisfactory ending although it may not have been what we wanted. But the show ended in the only way it could.
