Another British TV show is coming to America. Variety reports the new prequel series, Prime Suspect: Tennison, will premiere on PBS next year.

The crime drama is based on the long-running ITV series Prime Suspect, which starred Helen Mirren as Jane Tennison, a female detective working in the male-dominated Greater London police force. The series ran for seven seasons before ending in 2006.

The prequel follows a young Jane Tennison (Stefanie Martini) “at the start of her career in 1970s London. Just a probationary officer at this point in her life, Jane has to fight her way through the appalling sexism and bad policing that were de rigueur at the time.”

Prime Suspect: Tennison is slated to debut on PBS in 2017.
