Is it a crime to stop watching the first season of the Prodigal Son TV show on FOX? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Prodigal Son is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the season one episodes of Prodigal Son here. *Status update below.
A FOX crime drama series, the Prodigal Son TV series stars Tom Payne, Michael Sheen, Bellamy Young, Lou Diamond Phillips, Aurora Perrineau, Frank Harts, Halston Sage, and Keiko Agena. Malcolm Bright (Payne) is an extraordinary criminal psychologist who knows how killers think and how their minds work. In the 1990s, his father, Dr. Martin Whitly (Sheen), was a notorious serial killer called “The Surgeon” who killed at least 23 people. Since murder is “the family business”, Malcolm uses his twisted genius for good, to help the NYPD solve crimes and stop killers. He works alongside his longtime mentor, Gil Arroyo (Phillips), and two detectives — no-nonsense Dani Powell (Perrineau) and JT Tarmel (Harts), a born-and-bred New Yorker who questions whether Bright is a psychopath himself.

I really hope we get a Season 2. I love this show. The main actors are great. I love all the twist and turns.

My husband and I watch this on Hulu every week–and I have recommended it to everyone I work with. It’s my favorite show on TV right now! I really hope this one gets renewed.
Does dvr count? I have every episode and watch it every sunday. I cant wait for Martin to wake up. Did the girl in the box survive? Is she coming after malcolm? I love it please please please bring it back or I will never watch any show on fox again. It’s a dead network anyway Disney bought it. I’m still mad orville went on hulu.

I was so happy to have more of the season and hoping for season 2 Evil got renewed and they didn’t think it was doing good! Wonder if my DVR recording helps the ratings or viewing live through DirecTV or how we get measured? Not sure if everyone is counted
At first I didn’t like this show but I watch alot of shows and rhis one turned out to be one the best shows on tv right now great job Fox ! it’s a keeper, Love it!
I wanted to like this show so much, but after the first three I can’t make it through a whole episode. Payne and Sheen are fantastic, LDP is good as always, but the female characters are awful and unbelievable, especially the sister. She is so unbelievable as a on-air reporter. It’s during her scenes that I turn the channel and I rarely go back. Such a shame because it’s an interesting premise!
Prodigal Son is one of the best new series to come on in a long time. I love everything about it, particularly Martin and Malcom. My only criticism is Malcom’s assistant detective, Dani, is sort of a real drag. Can she ever smile? I don’t think much of her acting ability and her character seems to be barely tolerating Malcom. Other than that, it’s really a terrific show.
I love this show! It is the best show this season.
Just loved the show eventhough it creeps me sometimes. But I still go back for more. Keep it going!

Absolutely the best show on television at this time. I love the characters and how they relate to each other. It has it all. Its not just brain fodder. It is entertaining and very interesting.

Please Renew the Prodigal Son! From the first episode we were hooked. You think you know what’s going on and what is happening, then boom there’s a twist and turn. Sometimes something you totally didn’t expect, and you missed the Easter egg gets thrown in there. It’s almost like you’re working the crime too but which case case Bright’s or the murder case that he’s trying to profile for Gill. Please please please keep this show on tv.
