The Resident has some new company. Deadline reports Violett Beane has joined the upcoming FOX TV show.
The medical drama “centers on a tough, brilliant senior resident who guides an idealistic young doctor through his first day, pulling back the curtain on what really happens, both good and bad, in modern-day medicine.” The cast also includes Matt Czuchry, Manish Dayal, Bruce Greenwood, Emily VanCamp, and Shaunette Wilson.
On The Resident, Beane will recur as “Lily, a cancer patient under the care of Dr. Conrad Hawkins (Matt Czuchry) and Dr. Devon Pravesh (Manish Dayal).” FOX has not yet announced a premiere date for the series.

I’m a fan of many reality shows but I have to tell you this tops them all! What a refreshing honest open invigorating show Meet the Pete’s is! I have enjoyed everyone in the family and the goals that they have achieved! It is so refreshing and so beautiful to see this wonderful family I hope the series continues as it is my TOP viewing show ! I am definitely a fan of the tv medical drama genre, and L O V E Code Black. I will absolutely check out The Resident. It has a strong and well regarded cast, and the premise of the show has got me anxious with anticipation. Anyone who is a fan of this genre will have their schedules full to overflowing this upcoming season with Grey’s Anatomy, Chicago Med, Code Black, The Night Shift (if renewed for Season 5), The Resident, and The Good Doctor. WOW!!! WHAT A BLAST!!!
