The original Roswell ran on The WB and UPN between 1999 and 2002, and was something of a cult-classic for the former television networks. The source material, the Roswell High book series by Melinda Metz, has captured imaginations for a couple of decades, and now has inspired another series, the Roswell, New Mexico TV show. Is it too out-of-this-world to succeed in something as mundane as the Nielsen ratings? Will Roswell, New Mexico be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
A CW supernatural, science-fiction drama, Roswell, New Mexico stars Jeanine Mason, Nathan Dean Parsons, Lily Cowles, Michael Vlamis, Michael Trevino, Tyler Blackburn, Heather Hemmens, Trevor St. John, and Karan Oberoi. This series centers on Liz Ortecho (Mason), who’s back in town after a decade away. After reconnecting with her old crush, Roswell PD Officer Max Evans (Parsons), she learns he, his sister Isobel (Cowles) and their friend, Michael (Vlamis), are aliens. Now Liz has to keep this secret from everyone she knows, including her old high school boyfriend, Dr. Kyle Valenti (Trevino), and her best friend, Maria De Luca (Hemmens). Meanwhile, the politics of hatred, fear, and division threaten to expose them all and risk everyone’s lives.

i never saw the original which i think is the problem with people hating this sow because i think it’s awesome and i so hope they renew it, tv needs more shows about aliens and the latest episode was so good. love the actors, too

My wife I liked the show Never found it political nor racist. Just fiction entertainment. Simple diversion from reality. Wish it would have kept going. the only thing political is the people who try to find fault in anything or everything they see if it does not fit their personal agenda.
