Salvation will end its first, and possibly last season, next week, and details for the finale have been released. The series has not yet been renewed for a second season, and ratings for the series have been low at .52 in the demo numbers and an average of 3.564 million viewers.
CBS revealed the full details about the Salvation finale, titled “The Plot Against America,” in a press release. Check that out below.
“Harris, Grace and Darius must topple the illegitimate government, and Darius makes final plans for the ark, on the season finale of SALVATION, Wednesday, Sept. 20 at a special time (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

I find it extremely frustrating to watch aseries, and not get closure. Perhaps a short mini series with a few episodes to answer questions and give us closure. CBS owes it to faithful fans. Maybe tape a final episode before the series begins so there is closure!
the best sci fi drama on television, bar none.
Salvation is excellent, high quality entertainment that hopefully will be renewed. Very well written, directed and performed.
BTW.. if you do consider cancelling the series, please do a new “finale” for those of us in love with the show to at least let us know what happens to Salvation and to the asteroid?
I’ve totally fallen in love with this show. The first few seemed a bit futuristic and dull… but as the season progressed, found myself sitting on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns. PLEASE KEEP THIS GOING!! Have been trying desperately to get my husband to watch all the episodes I’ve recorded.. he loves politics and sci-fi, and works in a high tech industry.. This should push all his buttons as it did mine.

I absolutely love this series! The fact that it has a different story line and it’s not vulgar plus the lead character who plays Darius, WOW he is a fine specimen of a Man! Please do not cancel this show, it has been the one show I could not waite to watch and even watched episodes twice on your app.
Please keep this show airing! My husband and I have recorded every episode, and need to know what will happen next!! Please give us a second season!
