Salvation will end its first, and possibly last season, next week, and details for the finale have been released. The series has not yet been renewed for a second season, and ratings for the series have been low at .52 in the demo numbers and an average of 3.564 million viewers.
CBS revealed the full details about the Salvation finale, titled “The Plot Against America,” in a press release. Check that out below.
“Harris, Grace and Darius must topple the illegitimate government, and Darius makes final plans for the ark, on the season finale of SALVATION, Wednesday, Sept. 20 at a special time (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

I’ve really enjoyed the show! And we are right in the middle of the drama and action, you can’t cancel the series now! Bring it back! It was really nice to have a new show to watch over the summer, rather than unending reruns. Plus, it is refreshing to have some new subject matter on TV (not cops or talent shows).
Bring it back. very good show for a change. take all them reality shows off all the different channels. Like dancing and singing stuff. No one knows how to come up with something new, Except Salvation.

Yes, please bring Salvation back for a second season! Why? It is refreshing to have a forward thinking show that brings us out of our self-centered view of a plethora of TV shows based on “who can ‘out-perform’ another” reality TV, or, lets solve this brutal murder mystery. Salvation gets, if one dares, thinking about government corruption and that we are all connected to something greater than our individual selves.
I love the series and look forward to seeing it come back. Please don’t disappoint us, bring it back.
I liked salvation and would like to see it played out . CBS needs to quit canceling tv shows once people get interested in them. If CBS can not get it together maybe CBS needs to be canceled..

Didn’t even know that Sept. 21 was the season ender! Not very happy about who is making decisions about this show as I enjoyed it and would’ve liked to have seen something conclusive as a season finale. Like “was there a solution to the end of earth problem?”; “did everyone who mattered bugger off in the arc?”; “what happened to the bad guys” . . . . .
