Season five of SEAL Team is coming to CBS next week, but it won’t be on the network schedule for long. The show will air for four weeks on both CBS and Paramount+. It will then become a Paramount+ exclusive and the fifth episode will be made available immediately on the streaming service following the fourth episode’s conclusion.
The season premiere airs on CBS on October 10th, and the final CBS episode airs on October 31st. Per TV Line, Spencer Hudnut, the showrunner of the military drama, said the following:
“We’re going to go out with a bang for sure, and then start [on Paramount+] with an even bigger bang.”
The following was revealed about the start of the season in a press release:
“Season 5 of SEAL Team picks up where Season 4 left off with all of Bravo working on themselves and their home life. Bravo team will have to find their own personal sanctuaries as the war on terror enters its 3rd decade.”
David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, and Toni Trucks star in the military drama. Check out the preview for SEAL Team season five below.
What do you think? Are you planning to stick with SEAL Team when it moves from CBS to Paramount+?
CBS is nuts – why do we need to pay for what is essentially free tv – love the show but will not be streaming for money- good buy-
Please boost your ratings look forward to seeing it. Please reconsider it. Enjoy it and love it. Never missed any episode any episode of it. So good this show. Good chemistry of characters.
With all the poor programming on CBS & the other networks it really is too bad they take a show that I enjoy and make it unavailable to those that don’t pay the fee for the Paramount+ streaming subscription. I will not pay any of the streaming charges. I hope CBS fires the idiot who came up with this idea as it will only cost CBS viewership and make it harder to sell their comerical time.
so i pay for cbs thru youtube tv and now they want me to pay more to watch it on their our service? that is terrible. bait and switch move it bad for business. love the show but i am already paying for youtube tv, netflix, hbo max, etc. i am tapped out..bye seal team.
Please boost your ratings look forward new season every episode never missed aired any episode of it. Such a great show. Miltary drama good character David Boreanaz best since Bones cop drama, Buffy vampire slayer horror syfy, Angel spin off. Great actor and worth watching.
Seems as though streaming is the new way to watch TV programs. Be that as it may, I won’t be viewing any programs requiring “STREAMING”. I’ll take up reading which I haven’t done in awhile. I sincerely hope that CBS and other free watching networks all go belly up do to their greed paying exceedingly high wages to their on screen employees not to mention the executives whose wages are obscene. So long Seal Team it was great while it lasted.
Taking Seal Team from CBS and moving it to your streaming service is an awful idea. We love the show but this move just feels like gouging and we will just have to let it go. We’re very disappointed in this decision.
We HATE this move by CBS. We totally enjoy Seal Team and can’t afford to pay for all the shows that get the boot. We live in a rural community and can’t stream anything.
I can afford the pay the additional cost but refuse to be ripped off.
Seal Team is a great show. I am so happy it will continue.
I will be saying goodbye to my favorite show , when it goes to paramount + I will not purchase it . Seal team will vanish this is a bad move .
No way
I am pissed of about the way so many channels are expecting you to have to latch on to
their pay per view channel. How many channels are we going to have to pay for to watch the shows we want? CBS you suck!!!!!
Wont be watching on, only cbs
So disappointed, why? Seal Team is my favorite! We can’t stream as it’s not available where we live. I am totally bummed!
Will not be watching on Paramont+. Not spending anymore. Don’t have ability. Seems like CBS can’t stand success. Seal TEAM is one of their few worth watching.
AMEN BROTHER–me too
