SEAL Team has wrapped its fifth season on Paramount+, and now viewers are wondering if they will see a sixth season. The series moved from CBS to the streaming service after four seasons but four episodes of season five were shown on the network in the fall.
Starring David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, and Toni Trucks, SEAL Team follows the lives of an exclusive Navy SEAL Team.
Boreanaz said the following about the future of the series in an interview with TV Insider:
“I can’t say. What I could just say is that we’ve done great for Paramount+. You look at the numbers and the streaming, and then we’ve been trending as one of their number one shows for the past few weeks. So we’re doing good for ’em.”
When asked how long he plans to stay with the show, Boreanaz said:
“I don’t know. I think for me, it’s really relative to the stories that we’re telling and I’m excited more so about the switch to Paramount+. I find that that of all the streaming networks, this is a very positive one and they’re very aggressive in the way they do their shows. I still feel like this show moving over there and the potential of going on to another season and whatnot, the show won’t be drastically different, but it will have a slower burn to it. It’ll be more of like what happens in two weeks over a 10-episode order. It’s not just this huge season of — we don’t have to invest so much in certain areas of the storylines, but it may be like, hey, they get up, and this is their day and that’s 10 episodes. It’s very similar to like a 24 kind of aspect, but you really get to really now get under the skin of the characters, see where these men and women are and see how they’re affected from when they wake up to when they go to bed. I think that’s fascinating.”

I think season 6 should already have been ordered…..the end of season five left a huge window to be able to get to know the team members as the elite group it is with more focus on the individuality of it’s members. Let’s go for a half a dozen!!!
Yes I want a season 6. It would be great to see Jason Hayes’ Character continue. But I would I would continue to Watch the episodes regardless. The actors and producers and writers are doing a great job of showing what our seal team and our military goes through and the concerns that they have. This is a really important show.
Seal Team has been one of my favorite shows since it began. I really love the characters and storyline. The show speaks to current situations and the reality of that makes it even more compelling to watch. Season 5 left me with a feeling that I was holding my breath. Please bring back for season 6.
Yes… season 6 and many more after that! Also, please keep all the characters intact. Wouldn’t be the same without them!
No Season 6 would be a travesty just like these actors getting no recognition for the wonderful performances they have given us so far. Please renew this show for a 6th season and more. It’s the only show on tv that is cant miss television for me and my wife. And it’s the only reason I pay for Paramount+. This show goes, my subscription goes with it.
My favorite show hands down by far. I will watch it on whatever streaming service I can find it on!!

I no longer watch SEAL Team since it moved to Paramount+ and I will never subscribe to Paramount+.
What’s your personal ax to grind for? Are you a vet, what’s the principle you’re standing on? Ya kinda don’t dog something without stating your justification.
As a combat veteran myself, i find this show to be one that i am drawn to for the reality of the mindset and of course the content. I think its a good thing that a show like this focuses not only the aspects of combat and conflict but on the toll it takes on the families as well as the warfighter. I would watch the show without Boreanaz in a main role but would like to see him in a support role as his focuses on his now mental health issue.

I would definitely enjoy a 6th season of seal team with or without David Boreanaz. I would like to keep the same writers even if the format is different. We are all invested in what happens to these characters. The last episode in season 5 leaves too many loose ends for a show’s final episode.
Only if it is on the regular CBS channel, not Paramount+.
Do you realize the difference in the flavor of the show since moving? On CBS you’re getting a more watered down version. Part of my continued friendships with veterans is because WE know how WE feel and what we have experienced.
If your beef is personal or customer service related then please be more conscientious and understand that people that paid the price actually have something now that can be shared and appreciated.

I totally agree! I like the show way more now that it’s on Paramountplus and it’s so realistic and they work hard to make is so!
I respect all of you veterans, but I didnt see any change except the addition of the F word which is not needed. We didnt have it on CBS and it was the best show.
Hell yes I would watch more. The characters have become family.
Seal Team has been fabulous throughout, especially dynamic since going to Paramount+.
The freedom of expression now allowed to explore not only the lives of the characters, but also the effects of war/military service on our men and women has been a valued experience to share.
Please continue the series! Season SIX!
I would like a season 6 of Seal Team. The fans need to know how each of the characters progress. Does Jason get better and stay with Mandy? Do Sonny and Lisa finally get together? What happens with Sonny, Leanne & Hannah? Does Clay move to Green Team to stay with the family? Does Ray start their veterans program? Please do a sixth season to at least clean up the loose ends.
And many more seasons!
