The alphabet network has cancelled their plans to continue airing their Secret Millionaire reality series.
ABC had ordered 13 installments for season three of Secret Millionaire and seven episodes have aired so far. The most recent episodes have fallen to a low of a 0.8 rating in the demo with 3.80 million viewers, no doubt in part because they aired opposite Olympic coverage on NBC.
Two episodes had been scheduled for tonight, August 19th, and September 2nd. They’re being replaced by reruns of Once Upon a Time.
The three remaining episodes of Secret Millionaire had been scheduled to air on Monday nights for three weeks at 10pm, starting on August 27th. They’re being replaced by repeats of Castle, the timeslot’s regular season occupant.
It’s unclear if or when the remaining installments of Secret Millionaire will air.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Secret Millionaire? Do you hope that the series returns to the schedule at some point or would you rather see it cancelled instead?
I was a big fan of the show! Sad that it got cancelled. It would be great if they brought it back in the near future!
I was very sad to see Secret Millionaire ho off the network. We have so much negativity in this world it was nice to see some very positive things on television. I hope that they consider bringing it back, rather than showing reruns. This was one of the most refreshing show we had watched.
Totally agree with you!
I’ve been a Huge fan of Secret Millionaire since it first aired and have been waiting for the latest series. I’m terribly disapponted that it had been canceled as do not watch TV sitcoms or other TV programs other than the reality show like secret millionaire, shark tank, undercover boss and the profit.
I’m really very sad that I no longer get to see the philanthropy of the people who want to make a difference in the lives of the have knots.
bring back secret millionaire
I am so mad they took this show off . It was good to see so many people with money, looking out for the less fortunate. Please bring it back.
Shame this show was canceled. I was inspired by the good that was done, not only in helping these groups but by bringing light to their struggles.
