What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, SWAT stars Shemar Moore, Stephanie Sigman, Alex Russell, Jay Harrington, Lina Esco, Kenny Johnson, and Peter Onorati. The police drama centers on Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (Moore). A lifetime Los Angeles local and former Marine, Hondo has been tapped to lead a new “last stop” Special Weapons and Tactics unit. Thanks to his background, he is uniquely qualified to lead the team in a manner that also builds a bridge to the community he holds so dear. Hondo’s group includes the seasoned David “Deacon” Kay (Harrington), newcomer Jim Street (Russell), canine trainer Christina “Chris” Alonso (Esco), and expert driver, Dominique Luca (Johnson). They work under the supervision of L.A. Metro Captain Jessica Cortez (Sigman), a dedicated professional who also has a personal connection to Hondo. Meanwhile, Mumford leads a rival unit.

Telly’s Take
The network needs new dramas and this one fits with the rest of their programming but the current numbers are a bit of a problem. At this point, I suspect SWAT will be renewed but, if that happens, the producers will be making some adjustments for season two. I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free updates on any SWAT cancellation or renewal news.

Everytime the movie S.W.AT. comes on I watch it. This TV Show is missing something. The cant shoot, they cant fight, etc. Chicago PD shoots people in the head from miles away.

Swat might be on a series. Because it’s what we are dealing with in today world. So many things going on but it takes time to understand it all. A very good show. Strange you can’t even get the theme song out of your head. All actor are excellent even the producer.
I grew up on Swat loved it then, love it now..Please keep it going!!!
Ok, can someone throw Street’s mom back into prison now, please?
She is messing up the Mojo of the show.
While you’re at it, someone please get D. Luca a girlfriend. She might have to be blind as someone done beat that poor boy with an ugly stick and when it broke they taped it back together and kept beating him lol. Those years on the Shield and Sons of Anarchy were tough on poor Kenny.
