Has Taken been cancelled? It looks like NBC has removed the low-rated TV show from their schedule.
Set 30 years prior to the film franchise, the action drama stars Clive Standen as a young, but still lethal Bryan Mills. The cast also includes Jennifer Beals, Adam Goldberg, and Jessica Camacho.
Season two of Taken has five more episodes left and is set to air on Fridays until its season finale debuts on May 18th. However, NBC’s online schedule tells a different story. Taken is absent on both Friday, April 20th’s slate and subsequent weeks.
It’s unclear why NBC has pulled the series now, but it may have something to do with Taken’s low ratings. So far, season two is averaging a .44 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 2.764 million viewers.

I love Taken. It’s a great show with a strong cast. Maybe if NBC got it’s collective head out it’s arse and stopped putting good shows into their Friday Night graveyard slots they might actually have a hit show. Taken was a bright spot on a very lackluster Friday Night bill of fare. Likable cast with good actors. Good scripts and a good story that just ramped up it’s storyline with the hero agency’s nemesis. Taken is the only regular network show I watch. I just got a few of my relatives and friends watching the show. Maybe if NBC could make up their minds on what day and time and leave it there the ratings would go up. In the past 2 months it has jumped from 10pm Monday to 9pm Friday and then 8pm Fri. back to 9pm Friday. Please dont cancel this show and leave it where it is.

It’s wrong to put a show on and get invested and not allow at least the season to end. That is just an arrogant attitude. Please finish the season.
