Plans for Thony in the 2025-25 television season are DOA. FOX has cancelled The Cleaning Lady, so there won’t be a fifth season. The show’s fourth season of 12 episodes finished airing on Tuesday.
A crime drama series, The Cleaning Lady TV show stars Elodie Yung, Martha Millan, Khalen Roman Sanchez, Faith Bryant, Kate Del Castillo, and Sean Lew. Yancey Arias, Daniel Bonjour, Danny Pardo, Brian Norris, and Alain Uy recur. In the story, Thony De La Rosa (Yung) is a whip-smart Cambodian doctor who comes to the U.S. for medical treatment to save her son, Luca (Sanchez), who’s been diagnosed with a life-threatening immunodeficiency disorder. When the system pushes her into hiding, Thony refuses to give up and becomes a cleaning lady for a powerful crime syndicate. She then becomes a mob doctor. Under the watchful eye of the hospital’s brusque yet handsome chief resident, Dr. Sean Dupont (Bonjour), Thony straddles the line between two worlds until they inevitably come crashing into each other.
Airing on Tuesday nights, the fourth season of The Cleaning Lady averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.12 million viewers (includes DVR playback through 3:00 AM). Compared to season three, that’s down by 11% in the demo and down by 9% in viewership.
The show is a co-production with Warner Bros. Television, so Fox Entertainment also must share the profits with the external studio. Cleaning Lady also had to undergo a creative change this season following the death of co-star Adan Canto.
While the drama still has some passionate followers, the ratings have dropped quite a bit. In the demo, it’s FOX’s second-lowest-rated scripted series, only beating Alert: Missing Persons Unit (which was also cancelled today).

I don’t think It would be necessary of a 5.th season.. Well too dramatic and lots of confusions of a devil and Angel complications .. too smooth family too destroyed too.. It bored me sorry

I watched every season of The cleaning Lady and alert now there won’t be nothing left to watch on Fox they’re just going to leave you hanging after the last cleaning lady That’s a shame
This was one of my favorite shows to watch! I hope they bring this back it was so exciting to watch.
I am upset that it was canceled it was one of my favorites they should bring it back ratings be damned why must all the good shows get canceled now only 1 other show I watch on fox and if they cancel Masked Singer I will boycott Fox and never watch any of there programs again
I love watching The Cleaning Lady, the acting was good and storyline were good. Enjoyed and loved watching Adan Canto at the beginning of the series. It is a shame that the series has been cancelled. It beats reality TV.

I am very disappointed with this cancellation! I have been watching it from the very start. I can’t understand why good shows are cancelled but bad shows are renewed!

Disappointed ! I hate when shows are cancelled on a major cliff-hanger !!!! There should be at least a 2 hour ‘wrap-up the series’ movie (it should be a law).

How could they have cancelled The Cleaning Lady???? It’s just getting started to show the empowerment of a woman in her battle to protect her son and family. It is a very touching drama of familial love. I have heard of many fans crying over the cancellation. Can another station please pick up this wonderful drama? You will make a lot of fans very happy!
loved this show. the ending of the last episode had the makings of a whole new season with thony becoming the leader of sin cara. she could have been like a godfather series.
