TV show description:
In the United States, there are 40,000 people whose remains have never been identified. When police investigations reach a dead end, it’s a group of civilian volunteers that work nationwide to put a name to these individuals. These volunteers gather in coffee shops and living rooms to go over leads, clues, and tips. This particular network is based out of the Chicago area.
Alex Donovan (Christian Slater) is the leader of this chapter of The Forgotten Network. He’s a former detective, but left the police force after the disappearance of his young daughter. To this day, she hasn’t been found. With his finely tuned investigative skills, Alex can help piece together a victim’s story, going over their footsteps and figuring out why they died by taking a look at how they lived.
Candace Butler (Michelle Borth) is an office worker who avoids the terrible boredom of her mundane job by volunteering in the Network and helping to identify victims. She’s a confident and headstrong young woman.
Lindsey Drake (Heather Stephens) is a science teacher by day, but donates her nights to the Forgotten Network as a way to pay back for a crime that her husband committed.
Walter Bailey (Bob Stephenson) is a phone company worker who sometimes uses his telecommunication connections to help out the investigation. He’s a true-crime enthusiast, yet sometimes his zealousness complicates the investigations.
Tyler Davis (Anthony Carrigan), an aspiring artist, is the newest member of The Forgotten Network. This street-smart guy dropped out of medical school to become an artist and joined the Network as a way to satisfy his community service after being arrested for tagging.
Working with the group is Grace Russell (Rochelle Aytes), a homicide detective for the Chicago Police. Grace is Alex’s former protege and she’s the one who hands over the cases to Alex and the Network. She also stays in touch with him throughout his investigation and offers help wherever she can.
I really miss “The Forgotten” It was such a great show with a terrific cast! It was not just a show,it was an education for the public revealing how many bodies still remain john or Jane Doe today. It’s left to the kindness of Volunteers to work together with cold case Detectives countless hours researching all and any leads. All in hopes of returning them to their Family for a proper burial. These shows are the type of Reality we should be watching !! How can we help others ! These people have already passed buy they and their Families still deserve… Read more »
I can’t believe that The Forgotten is being cancelled! I really liked this show. It seems like the networks pull all the new and different shows ie: Eleventh Hour. Yet they keep shows like Big Brother or Wipeout or True Beauty. What polls are they taking their info from…
please keep the forgotten on its the only new series last fall that i watched.
PLEASE PLEASE KEEP THE FORGOTTEN, IT WAS THE ONLY NEW SERIES LAST FALL THAT I WATCHED…….CHRISTIAN YOU ARE AN AWESOME ACTOR AND THE REST OF THE CAST ARE GREAT ALSO.
Don’t cancel the forgotten it is a great show and it has a great story line. I can’t tell you how many times I cried when I wastched some of the episodes it really touched my heart.
This is a great and enlightening show. I saw he finally found his daughter. Please don’t
let that be the end. The daughter could take his show a different direction. By telling
schools of her abduction & how she coped, saving herself by losing her identity & becoming an other’s daughter.
Keep it. It is Needed.
~Me~
I AGREE. A GREAT SHOW, PLEASE KEP IT ON THE AIR
I am with the others. Please do not cancel The Forgotten. It is one of the best programs on television. It would be a shame to cancel this series.
Please, please don’t cancel The Forgotten. It is currently the best show on TV! My 12 year old daughter & I look forward to each show. The cast is amazing & the story is unique.
PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THE FORGOTTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this show it is by far the best show that is on now, I am still p.o.’d about them cancelling Eastwick!!!
please keep the forgotten it is a great show it just needs time to jump start in the ratings.. bad time of year with baseball, football and hockey and basketball on now
This is the lamest show this year yet. Some group of civilians poking around in places and situations only cops should be in. It makes no sence, the acting stinks, and the storylines (if you want to be so nice as to call them that) STINK. I loved My Own Worst Enemy, but this show has GOT TO GO NOW!!!!!!!
PLEASE do not cancel The Forgotten!!! This is the GREATEST show on ABC, NBC, or CBS line of fall shows. We look forward to this show weekly because the characters are great and the story line always keeps us guessing. This is a very touching show for all John/Jane Doe’s in this country. Once again PLEASEEEE DO NOT CANCEL!!!!!!!
Yes, please keep The Forgotten!! The show is great, with solid actors who have chemistry with each other. It keeps you guessing till the end, who did the crime.
We need other shows on TV, besides reality shows.
Please keep The Forgotten!! It is a great show!
