A police drama series, The Rookie TV show stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, Eric Winter, and Mekia Cox. As the story begins, John Nolan (Fillion) is a middle-aged divorced man from Pennsylvania. He owns a construction company but decides to give up his old life to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. He graduates from the Police Academy and becomes the oldest rookie on the force. He works with Sergeant Wade Grey (Jones), Detective Angela Lopez (Diaz), training officers Nyla Harper (Cox) and Tim Bradford (Winter), and fellow rookie Lucy Chen (O’Neil).
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

For comparisons: Season three of The Rookie on ABC averaged a 0.49 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.

I really like the rookie, BUT it isn’t consistently on each week which makes it hard to plan to watch. Your rating would go up if you corrected that. It’s a really good show.
Has anyone else ever noticed that the shows that stay on the longest don’t have story lines that go on and on, except as an occasional comment or one time scene, I think that is because there is no way to continue the show when the storyline ends.
Look at NCIS, Bonanza, Adam 12, Gunsmoke, Cheers, ER.
Great show I love the Rookie please renew this show, it’s way better then half the shows on TV today. Truly enjoy this show hope to see this show for season 5 I love John Nolan he is one of my favorite cops on the show..

season 4 is interesting and I like the funny scene. also, I would like to say add more romance scene. keep up the good work!
Season 1 was good, season 2 was mediocre, season 3 was an abomination, season 4 is just trying but it is too little to late.
My personal view it is time to put this show to rest and give Nathan his time back so he can work on another show, I still remember Firefly being cancelled for better ratings than this show is having right now.

Every year this shows rating drop. This year with only .33 with the 18-49 and 2.88 total a large lost from last year. Last year lost was lower than the year before. Will the lower ratings give renewal for next year?

Recently the episodes have been very good. Thank goodness there hasn’t been and stuff regarding race. Should be renewed.
I think the rookie is a good show. I like all the characters and the romance scene are perfect. so much dramatic.
Season three’s wokeness may have been too transparent to keep this shows audience. Season four is better. Give it another season with great writing and a little publicity. This is a worthy show
We like the show but this year they get the music too loud sometimes so you can’t hear what they’re saying. !!!!
