NBC is shifting things around. The network just announced The Village and The Voice are switching timeslots on Tuesday.
The Voice is currently in the middle of its 16th season with a judges panel that includes Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, John Legend, and Blake Shelton. Meanwhile, The Village debuted its freshman season in March. The drama series centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building.
Beginning April 23rd, The Village will air on NBC on 8 p.m. ET/PT and The Voice will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

NBC is shifting two of its Tuesday series by moving “The Village” to 8 p.m. and “The Voice” to 9 p.m.
· The five-week change will begin April 23 and conclude May 21.
· The new season of “America’s Got Talent” premieres on Tuesday, May 28 (8-10 p.m.) followed by the series premiere of “Songland” (10-11 p.m.).
· “The Village” is more time-shifted than “The Voice” and with HUT levels down at 8 p.m., many viewers will watch the show on a delayed basis.
· “The Voice” will now be a tentpole show at 9 p.m. touching on both the 8 and 10 p.m. shows.
· In “live plus seven day” Nielsens, the Tuesday edition of “The Voice” is averaging a 2.1 rating and 10.9 million viewers overall, with the 18-49 rating growing to a 2.9 after 35 days of linear and projected digital viewership. The show is gaining momentum on nonlinear platforms, with the spring cycle’s “blind audition” episodes topping the fall cycle’s blind auditions in L+7+digital figures for the first time since that data stream was initiated during the 2014-15 season.
· “The Village” is growing by 71% going from “live plus same day” Nielsens to L+7, from a 0.7 to a 1.2, and by 2.4 million persons in total viewers, from 4.2 million to 6.6 million.”

Please do not cancel The Village. It is a fantastic show and we always look forward to it. There are many storylines, that are drawn into the characters. Please continue with season 2
I absolutely adore The Village! Please keep it! Such excellent acting and the stories are so timely and compelling!
Please keep ‘The Village’, it’s only just started with the story line. It’s a great diverse community living together in real life situations. We need more examples of this for our country.

Yes. I really like The Village and have watched every episode. I also like The Voice and watch it fairly regularly after the initial auditions.

Yes, the Village should have another season. The time slot is no problem. If some people think it’s and adult show and should be on later they can just record it and watch something else at that time.
The Village is an adult show, should be on later than 8:00.
Please don’t cancel The Voice as long as Blake Shelton & Adam Levine are staying on it. They are what make the show great. If they leave, the show won’t be any good. We love them!!! We watch the show every year!!! It is better than AGT, DWTS, or American Idols. So please don’t cancel it!!! Don’t cancel The Village yet. Give it a chance. Really sad…8 was the perfect time slot for the voice…now we will probly watch it from the DVR…so sad
