Is the LAPD Chief in over her head in the first season of the Tommy TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Tommy is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of Tommy here. *Status update below.
A CBS dramatic series, the Tommy TV show stars Edie Falco, Michael Chernus, Adelaide Clemens, Thomas Sadoski, Russell G. Jones, Olivia Lucy Phillip, Joseph Lyle Taylor, and Vladimir Caamaño. The series revolves around a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles. Abigail “Tommy” Thomas (Falco) uses unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to keep social, political, and national security issues from hindering effective law enforcement in the Southland.

WTF CBS!!!! Why in the GDFen hell did you cancel Tommy? Not only you CBS but other networks as well seem to cancel all the top good shows, dramas, and etc. leaving us hanging in the end but yet keep all these stupid comedies, song/singing shows, and other stupid dramas that no one really wants to watch. What in the world was CBS thinking when they cancelled Tommy. Edie Falco is a world class actress and the writers up to date and on point. Some cable network will get a real prize and loyal viewers!
Please do not cancel Tommy. It is such a good show. She is such a great characater. It was my favorite of the new shows. Watched it every Thursday!
I love the show. It deals with so many social issues and especially with a positive female role model who is assertive, ethical and straightforward. She also illustrates the plight of strong working women and the issues they must face in their life. There are too few such shows on the air. Let’s not lose this one.

I think the program should come back for season 2. It is excellent. I love it and my family and many friends love it too.
I think Tommy was one of the best new shows on TV, as did critics. Edie Falco is fabulous with excellent story lines. CBS is making a terrible mistake by cancelling it. I really hope Netflix or Amazon pick up Tommy, as I will really miss seeing it.

It’s been a long time since I looked forward to Thursday night – but Tommy changed that. I love this show. I wasn’t expecting to read about cancellation – I was expecting to read about Emmy nominations. Please reconsider. You have solid, experienced actors, fresh new faces, creative writing and strong character development. Tommy is like the great 10pm network shows that we looked forward to and stayed up to watch on work nights – and hashed over at work the next morning. Those of us who don’t #KUWTK need Tommy on Thursday night!
Please do not cancel Tommy. I can’t stand another reality tv show. This show has excellent writing and characters. I am watching more Amazon prime shows because network has not worthwhile until this show came on. CBS if you will not renew maybe Amazon will you pick it up????
What is the matter with these people at CBS? It should be Joe public who says shows should be canceled. Tommy is a great cop show! Different from all the rest as it covers many aspects of cops lives and inner workings. Get real CBS!
Is CBS homophobic or racist? What was the reason for canceling such a really good show?! There are so many worthless programs on and reality programs (awful!!) that to get a smart one with good plot lines and then, lose it, is really disappointing!

Sally Harper – This is one of the best shows of the season. It combines reality with drama and emotion. Please give us a second season!
