What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, the Tommy TV show stars Edie Falco, Michael Chernus, Adelaide Clemens, Thomas Sadoski, Russell G. Jones, Olivia Lucy Phillip, Joseph Lyle Taylor, and Vladimir Caamaño. The series revolves around a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles. Abigail “Tommy” Thomas (Falco) uses unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to keep social, political, and national security issues from hindering effective law enforcement in the Southland.

Can not believe it isn’t renewed and it just ended so abruptly. My granddaughter and I taped it and watched it religiously. Nothing good left on tv anymore.

Great Show! Edie Falco is brilliant as well as the ensemble cast! CBS is crazy not to renew this WONDERFUL program!! Maybe America is STILL not ready for POWERFUL woman to be in charge!! Please renew or I may need to tune into another channel in that time slot?

But a husband and I loved Tommy. It was such a different take on a police show. The characters were great.
I think the show was one of the best new dramas on tv. Edie Falco is a superb actress. I can’t imagine why it was cancelled

I think it’s a poor time to be cancelling any show. TV watching is most likely affected by the current change in habits and lifestyles brought on by the pandemic…
I have really enjoyed this new program and Edie Falco seems the perfect actor this role.

Give it a chance! It’s a really good show with a female lead. Edie Falco is a great actress and the story lines are good. People just have to discover it. Sometimes the series just doesn’t get advertised enough. If the ratings are getting better towards the end of the season then give it a chance.
