What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, the Tommy TV show stars Edie Falco, Michael Chernus, Adelaide Clemens, Thomas Sadoski, Russell G. Jones, Olivia Lucy Phillip, Joseph Lyle Taylor, and Vladimir Caamaño. The series revolves around a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles. Abigail “Tommy” Thomas (Falco) uses unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to keep social, political, and national security issues from hindering effective law enforcement in the Southland.

I just love this show and can’t believe it got cancelled. Love watching my home town on TV and what if this was the way Los Angeles could be with a women running the police dept. If a man were the lead I bet this show wouldn’t be cancelled.

Why is it every time there is a really good show on, the network always cancels it. This was a great show and we enjoyed seeing it every week.

I really enjoy watching Tommy, it’s one of the best shows on television right now. Edie Falco has always been one of my favorite actresses and she is doin a fantastic job showing us the many sides of her “Chief” character…the rest of the cast is filling in nicely and the characters are all starting to evolve… Along with the great cast, the plot line this season was very entertaining. I am very sad that CBS wants to cancel this great show after one season, crazy! I hope everyone over at CBS will change their minds and give the fans… Read more »

So disappointed that this show was cancelled. The actors were starting to fill in their characters well, tge writing was good and Edie Falco is a winner. It takes most shows some time to hit their stride. This one was getting solid footing
And CBS renews SEAL Team, one of the lowest rated shows on TV? It’s another show lead by and focused on the male perspective. Do we need another show like that? No. Why do shows with strong, intelligent, driven and powerful women get cancelled? Who does this make nervous?
Why??? Such a good show with a strong, intelligent woman lead character, great cast and interesting stories. What ever happened to letting a show build an audience? So very disappointed.
