In week two, this new show came down 14% in the demo to a 2.5 rating with 12.43 million. It won its timeslot. While the numbers are relatively good, it’s the lowest rated new scripted series on the network (not counting A Gifted Man because it’s on Fridays).
Season average: 2.7 demo with 13.26 million.

Episode 01-01: Tuesday, 9/20/11
This crime drama debuted to a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 14.09 million viewers. That represents a 16% increase in the demo over last year’s timeslot occupant, The Good Wife (2.5).

There was erosion of 13% as the first episode progressed, meaning those people tuned out before the hour was finished. That’s not a huge number but those people are less likely to return for the second episode.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

A watch the show faithfully every week & enjoy it very much. I think there should be a better storyline of the casts lives & interacting with eachother, at times it seems like they are disconnected. (EX: NCIS — cast seems to be really a family & they make it seem like they enjoy their jobs & eachother). The storylines are interesting but if you are looking to continue the series they should be stronger & get the viewers involved with the storyline. As a woman, it’s nice to see Poppy in a lead role & her acting is very… Read more »

Like Poppy Montgomery but not Unforgettable. Bring back Without A Trace and Cold Case. Those were great shows.

Love the show! Have always liked Poppy Montgomery – except for one thing – don’t think the writers need to have her have a one-night-stand. That happened in Without A Trace, and she ended up having the baby.
I think Carrie Wells is better than one-night-stands. Haven’t they heard about STD’s like Herpes, HIV etc. And what kind of message does it send our young people?

I wouldn’t be shocked to see A Gifted Man canned and this shifted to Friday 8pm as soon as they have something ready to take its place.

Only on CBS could a show have over 10 million viewers and be one of the lowest rated shows on the network.

I really enjoy watching “Unforgettable”, the actors are all great and the stories are very good. I sincerely hope and pray that it gets to stay on and continue. It seems like all you see anymore are reality shows which I think are LOUSY and STUPID. Please keep good shows like this one on as I look forward to it every week. It is interesting and a GREAT show!!!!!!

I’ve watched every week and the story keeps getting better and more interesting. I like the fact that all of the stars are becoming more involved in the story, not just Poppy Montgomery who was on “Without a Trace”, “NYPD Blue”, “Glory Days” to name a few. They are all amazing actors from so many other shows. Like Kevin Rankin was on “Trauma”, “Friday Night Lights”,”Justified”, “Big Love”, “The Mentalist” to name a few. Daya Vaidya was on “Two and a Half Men”, “Dexter”,”Lincoln Hights” to name a few. Michael Gaston was on”The Mentalist”, “Inception”, “Law and Order” to name… Read more »

The premise of the show is a good one. The casting is good as well, but the writing and character build for the main character is flawed. I watched the adverts thinking she would be this badass cop with awesome memory abilities that would give her an edge. Instead we have this extrememly depressed, weak detective who doesn’t even seem like she could have graduated from the academy or passed the psych evaluations. Watching her is slow and depressing. It’s only interesting when she goes through the memory process. I read a reviewer say that Poppy and Dylan had no… Read more »

I have to wonder how valid Nielsen numbers are anymore, given how many people record episodes to watch later, or watch online at the show’s web site.
