WANDER, SYLVIA (Disney XD)
Disney XD has cancelled its animated Wander Over Yonder TV series after the second season. Creator Craig McCracken broke the news that there would be no third season, on Tumblr.
The voice cast of Wander Over Yonder stars Jack McBrayer as Wander and April Winchell as Sylvia. Lord Hater is voiced by Keith Ferguson. Tom Kenny voices Commander Peepers. Sam Riegel recurs as Emperor Awesome. Fred Tatasciore voices the masked Lord Dominator. Noël Wells supplies the character’s unmasked voice.

Wander over Yonder over?
I’ve been seeing a lot of speculation lately on whether or not Wander will be returning for a 3rd season. Unfortunately, the answer is no.
About a year ago we presented a pitch for a season 3 arc that promised to bring our characters together in new, unexpected, and hilarious ways. And just as S2 evolved from S1, we had a really exciting approach to evolving S3 even further. We had plans for new characters, the return of old characters, and even a bit of backstory! We were all really excited about the new direction and so were our bosses at DisneyXD and TVA.
Unfortunately, the higher up bosses of bosses of bosses at Disney decided not to continue with the show. It’s not that they didn’t like Wander, they just felt that 2 seasons and 80 cartoons was enough and they didn’t see the need to produce any more.
For the record, this decision had nothing to do with the ratings performance of S2. Truth be told, we were informed that we wouldn’t be continuing before S2 even premiered.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the fans who spread the word about Wander and encouraged people to try and watch it on air.
I know this news is kind of a bummer, but the recent surge in fandom from My Fair Hatey along with our win at the Annie’s for Outstanding Children’s Series has really made me and the whole Wander team feel that we are ending on a high note!

We gave it a go,
put on a heck of a show,
and did a lot of fun stuff we’ll get to laugh about after!
And for those keeping track we have 7 half hours left of S2 that will wrap up sometime in June.

Ugh… Every good show I get into, I swear. Its not just Disney either all the networks have done it at some point.
You corporations really need to suck it up and finish what you’ve started instead of bailing half way through. And Ill definitely never understand why you quit on shows that are obviously making you money. I mean, isn’t that the only thing you care about anyway?
When I heard that Wander Over Yonder had been cancelled I thought, “What that can’t be true. It’s a great show.” So after research and finding this I realized that it is true. I cried a bit and I’m still upset. Please bring it back my siblings and I loved this show. If not I guess Wander, Silvia, and everyone else will still be in our hearts. There are only a few good shows that my family can all agree on watching and now one more is gone.
I really enjoy Wander Over Yonder. For instance I loved that there appeared to be the opportunity that Hater could have grown beyond his selfish self and actually ended up being heroic, with Wander’s help of course. I like shows that allow character growth. For instance in Star Vs. the Forces of Evil, Mewnipendance Day episode you get to see that the good vs evil bit was not so clear cut and that the “monsters” were not just being bad, they had legitimate gripes, and I loved that Star actually seemed to get that by the end of the episode.
This sure is depressing news… Really loved the show, but I don’t think they’re going to rethink this. I’m sure this is going to hurt Disney’s reputation. The only good show left on the channel I can think of is Star Vs. the Forces of Evil.
Also bummed by this. But, there ARE other good shows still on the station, besides Star vs The Forces of Evil. Star Wars Rebels, Lab Rats Elite Force, Gamer’s Guide…,Walk The Prank (still deciding if I like this one).
I and my daughter enjoyed Wander, Sylvia, Lord Hater, and the rest. We enjoyed the motto “it never hurts to help”. We wish you would just keep going because we love the laughter and the Wander songs. Please make Season 3. Love The Wander Over Yonder Fans.
Nice how all the best stuff gets cancelled and the garbage shows go on forever.
this is really disappointing that Disney xd is canceling a great show Phineas and ferb is over fish hooks gravity falls and now wander of yonder what’s next =(
Wasn’t a fan of Wander, but the pilot episode alone was better than most of the garbage CN is airing at the moment. They seem to have trouble learning from their mistakes. I suspect there’s going to be another fiasco like the abysmal “Live-Action CN” coming soon.
Please, season 3! I’m so upset. I really want another season! Disney, you can’t just end it like that!! Wander over Yonder is the best show to ever hit Disney XD!!! This news literally makes me want to cry. Please, please don’t let it end. It fills me with such joy.
not only that, but they’re cancelling all of their actually good shows, leaving the popular (and by popular I mean Pickle & Peanut, which looks like a drug trip). Next thing you know, Star VS The Forces Of Evil gets the axe halfway through Season 2!
I’m sensing a pattern. Saturday Morning Sonic/Sonic SatAM is cancelled after Season 2 with a 3rd season pitched, and the Wander Over Yonder is cancelled after 2 seasons, with a 3rd season pitched as well. Coincidence….?
It seems all the shows with promise end before their time or have already planned thier end. It’s depressing really. Wander had so much potential, like a lot, but to get cut in the bud so soon. Sux.
I can’t believe it. They stop one of the only shows I actually enjoyed besides gravity falls and star vs the forces of evil. And all I am left with are shows like pickle and peanut? Thats just horrible! No justice at all! they need to rethink this decision ASAP!
First, they end Gravity Falls, and now, Wander Over Yonder?!? What the hell is wrong with these people? Is Disney gonna keep that crappy-ass show of Spider-man comedy/variety half-hour and pickle & peanut and sacrifice shows that are fun? Disney must be run by chimps!…no, chimps are MUCH smarter!
Disney didn’t end Gravity Falls it was ended by the creator because that’s what he wanted

Omg Gravity Falls ended?! Where the heck have I been?! (Fanfiction and South Park (Bad combination, heh heh)) Going to go finish it, bye! 😀
Disappointed. This is one of those shows that grows on you. At first I ignored it, but over time became a real fan. Disney will probably replace it with another awful live-action superhero show. Those never grow on me.
