WANDER, SYLVIA (Disney XD)
Disney XD has cancelled its animated Wander Over Yonder TV series after the second season. Creator Craig McCracken broke the news that there would be no third season, on Tumblr.
The voice cast of Wander Over Yonder stars Jack McBrayer as Wander and April Winchell as Sylvia. Lord Hater is voiced by Keith Ferguson. Tom Kenny voices Commander Peepers. Sam Riegel recurs as Emperor Awesome. Fred Tatasciore voices the masked Lord Dominator. Noël Wells supplies the character’s unmasked voice.

Wander over Yonder over?
I’ve been seeing a lot of speculation lately on whether or not Wander will be returning for a 3rd season. Unfortunately, the answer is no.
About a year ago we presented a pitch for a season 3 arc that promised to bring our characters together in new, unexpected, and hilarious ways. And just as S2 evolved from S1, we had a really exciting approach to evolving S3 even further. We had plans for new characters, the return of old characters, and even a bit of backstory! We were all really excited about the new direction and so were our bosses at DisneyXD and TVA.
Unfortunately, the higher up bosses of bosses of bosses at Disney decided not to continue with the show. It’s not that they didn’t like Wander, they just felt that 2 seasons and 80 cartoons was enough and they didn’t see the need to produce any more.
For the record, this decision had nothing to do with the ratings performance of S2. Truth be told, we were informed that we wouldn’t be continuing before S2 even premiered.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the fans who spread the word about Wander and encouraged people to try and watch it on air.
I know this news is kind of a bummer, but the recent surge in fandom from My Fair Hatey along with our win at the Annie’s for Outstanding Children’s Series has really made me and the whole Wander team feel that we are ending on a high note!

We gave it a go,
put on a heck of a show,
and did a lot of fun stuff we’ll get to laugh about after!
And for those keeping track we have 7 half hours left of S2 that will wrap up sometime in June.

One of Mr. McCracken’s creations is awesome! He’s the greatest creator in the world, and Wander is the greatest, too! I deserve a renewed, just one more season! I love WOY and I love Wander!

Wander is the best show on Disney! Every episode was so fresh and inventive – it never grew boring, repetitive or predictable. A 3rd season is highly warranted!!!

I love Wander so much, because it was the best, greatest show ever! I’ve learned about friendship between Wander and Sylvia and I love it when they hugged. I’ll aways remember what he said, “a little lump of love will take the buck out of the bronco” and “it never hurts to help”! I deserve a third season for a renewed! I always love this show and I always love him. I love you, Wander…and Sylvia, too! Never hurts to help!

Just when we were really getting into this show! There aren’t very many good kids cartoons out there, Wander was one of the good ones…so was gravity falls…and now that’s gone too. My kids and I will be really sad to see it go. This was a big mistake to end it!
Exactly, the show started to finally get good and exciting to say at least and the people up in Disney XD Cancel it. But they keep the show “Pickel and Peanut” which should have been canceled a long time ago.

Disney dropped the ball on this one.
I wonder if there’s still a chance for them to bring back the show because it’s not fair what their doing to Wander Over Yonder if they have more ideas then they make more episodes!!!!
So I admit at the beginning of when this came out, I thought it’d be a trainwreck. BUT I MISJUDGED (Like Steven Universe and countless others), and I’m sad that once I finally got into it about near the start of season 2, I found out it was getting CANCELLED. (This has happened so many times before where I like something and POOF it’s gone (Like my favorite anime characters, eh eh? xD)) I really hope somehow the cancellation is cancelled (Ha ha), because this show has great potential, and ohhh maaa gerrrd is Wander’s laugh adorable (<3). If you go on to Change.org and look up “Wander Over Yonder” you will find several petitions dedicated to getting a third season to the show I know because I signed each and everyone, there can still be a third season one more season is all we ask!!!!!
