A Hallmark Channel romantic drama series, When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow, Jack Wagner, Kevin McGarry, Chris McNally, Andrea Brooks, Kavan Smith, and Pascale Hutton. Others in the cast include Ben Rosenbaum, Johannah Newmarch, Martin Cummins, Kayla Wallace, Viv Leacock, Natasha Burnett, Vienna Leacock, Elias Leacock, Hrothgar Mathews, Loretta Walsh, and Amanda Wong. Inspired by the Janette Oke novel, the TV series follows Elizabeth Thatcher (Krakow), a young teacher from a high society background. She’s assigned to teach in a coal country classroom and it’s a life-changing experience. Now a widow and single mother, Elizabeth faces new challenges but enters into a new relationship with mysterious gambler Lucas Bouchard (McNally). In season nine, Hope Valley is in a state of growth, with the foundry’s progress and the evolution of key relationships. The Mayoral race has the town buzzing with a few members of the town running against one another. Elizabeth and Lucas focus on their relationship beyond courtship, and as she gets to know Lucas better, she learns about his past which gives Elizabeth pause about their future.

Bring Lori back as Abigail. She was the glue that held the town together. I loved watching her tame Henry. We all know he needs an Abigail in his life! I love the show and want to see it succeed for many more years. Make the Cafe the gathering place again. The focal point.

Absolutely brilliant series, wouldn’t change a thing.
I was very surprised at the light sentences Lori Loughlin and her husband received for their offenses. Shortly after they were released, they proceeded to buy a very expensive home.
It didn’t feel right to me, and didn’t seem like a good example for their daughters.
I don’t support Lori returning to WCTH.
I am liking how the different characters are being featured more prominently, as well as the story lines. I’m a big fan of Lucas with Elisabeth, and how their relationship is developing.
I like the series especially since Elizabeth chose Lucas. Nathan would have been more of the same and it would have been too much the same thing.

WCTH is no longer a family show, it is a soap opera, people will get angry with me for posting this, but it is the truth.

Totally agree with Jim! Love WCTH, but would love to see Lori back as Abagail! Why would Hallmark be so dead-set against that when so many fans would love to see her back?? PLEASE!!
