Is Whiskey Cavalier coming back? Deadline reports ABC is considering reviving the cancelled TV show for a second season.
The drama series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Scott Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world. The cast also includes Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins.
Even though ABC announced Whiskey Cavalier‘s cancellation earlier this month, the network is reportedly reconsidering their decision after fans launched a campaign to save the show and the season one finale earned strong ratings.
Overall, season one of Whiskey Cavalier averaged a .57 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.347 million viewers. While the finale increased ratings by nearly 60%, that still leaves the freshman drama in the bottom 10 for ABC’s 2019-20 season.
Nevertheless, ABC is exploring bringing Whiskey Cavalier back for another season. As of reporting, no decisions have been made.
What do you think? Have you seen Whiskey Cavalier? Would you watch a second season?
I am a fan of the show, please bring it back. Besides, how can you not let us know what happens to Standish! Also, I really do want to see Frankie kill Alex… We deserve another season of Whiskey Cavalier!
RENEW!!!
Please renew. Love this show!
Watching here in England.
WC reminds us of Leverage. Not too serious but enjoyable and disappointed that it hasn’t been given a longer run.
Ala Jericho – bring on tbe peanuts.
Whiskey Cavalier deserves a second season. It is the best show on ABC. It has a brilliant cast and is smartly written. The locations only add to the magnificence of this great show. Please give it a second chance.
Please reconsider renewing whisky! It’s a great show! The actors are sensational! Please!
Didn’t learn the last time they canceled a hit series did they? Bring it back!
I’ve found this series to be mildly amusing. It’s definitely light-weight, but pleasant enough for at least two seasons.
My husband and I enjoy this program. Good plots yet lighthearted.
First ABC cancells Deception … now this … enough with the reality shows which are becoming stupid (no offence meant), but there is no substance to them. I will admit that America’s Got Talent is good, but for the most part the spin offs of that are nothing compared to AGT.
Bring it back on enough already with the bad decisions
Bring it back!!!
One of the best TV shows I have seen in a very long time..why would you cancel something so good?
BE IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!
I really like the show with the drama and humor. Hope it is revived. Networks are way too quick to cancel new shows. They need to at least give them a 2 season run.
